Have had nothing but trouble with tru-color, it comes out like powder coating and just evaporates sitting in the plastic jar. Have tried all sorts of techniques, thinners, retardents, pressures but just cant get it right, must be too old by the time it gets over here to Oz.
Use Mr. Color leveling thinner. It works perfect with this paint. I paint my own trains and I use TruColor 90% of the time. I thin mine about 50/50 and do light coats. This paint is awesome.
That's what I did, I used Mr Color Leveling Thinner when painting my Alco RS3 into SP Bloody Nose colors. The paint did spray very well and has a great finish.@@jasonmccarthy820
Great review! I've never used Tru-Color before so your tutorial was wonderful. Thank You!

Can I thin this paint with Tamiya lacquer thinner? I bought the Tru Color Southern Pacific Lark Gray and Scarlet red.

You seem to like fire hose approach!😳
Jman
Do you need thinner?
nice but have to get a loan to purchase a bottle....
Not to mention the thinner...
What pressure do you spray the paint at.......25-30 psi, or is lower better?
I like their rattle cans a lot
Excellent 👍
Great content and Videos. Just Subd!
Just wait until you mask it for another color and pull the masking off. Doesn't adhere to good, especially to resin.
Nice 👍🏿
I'm an often on watcher are you gonna ever finish that B17 and show it
We did finish it here! ua-cam.com/video/yCMzcrJ16i0/v-deo.html
Nice Work. What Pressure setting did you use?
Acetone based? WTH were they thinking. Acetone eats plastic worse that strong lacquer thinner. SMH.
You do realize lacquer thinner has acetone in it...
