Holy crap nobody else mentioned that Legacy of Kings followed Alexander the Great so I wasn't gonna pick it up but now I'm completely sold. AND A MAP OF MY COUNTRY IN THE FIRST PAGE. AHHH! Ava Lavender is a fantastic book! The most amazing thing about it was the way the author described everything. I could see, smell, and even taste anything described.
I picked up The Honest Truth after seeing it in the bookstore, had no idea what it was about but was intrigued... I read it in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was heartwarming and very touching and very tense at times. I was very pleasantly surprised and I hope you enjoy it too Jesse :)

Sounds like the Room trailer has the same issue as The Martian trailer, because that spoiled the crap out of the book when I was only halfway through it.
I was at the bookstore and saw Legacy of Kings, and I've heard so many good things about it, so I really wanted to buy it. But, there were other books I wanted so I debated which one I should get and ended up getting something else:P I hope I get the chance to pick it up soon though because it sounds fantastic!=D

I actually disagree. The book doesn't centre around Room, it centres around how Ma and Jack (especially Jack) will adapt to life outside of room after being in there for so long, and how Jack will deal with learning about how there are other things that exist other than what's inside of Room. The escape happens like 1/3 of the way through the book, and the back of the book practically says that they're gonna escape. So, I guess I could see why someone who hadn't read the book and then saw the trailer would assume it gave the entire story away, but I REALLY don't think it does.
+jessethereader But it's kind of obvious what happens, and the story is so much more than just the "actions" on the book! The movie is going to be about that, about a boy, his mom and discovering the world, not just about the room or what happen in the room or "out" of it. And in the back of the book you already know what's is going to happend, on the trailer it kind shows how happend, but is a minor fact, and that's why is shows on the trailer, the end of it says it all: you're going to love... what? the world. And that sums up the entire thing!
