I have a problem with the tail light stickers...as we were promised by the old lead designer that everything would be prints for head/tail lights...and now we've gone backwards to stickers. We need more prints like those if the price keeps going up...
Making it all black or yellow would be a nice alternative... And trying to make the front Flames in Lego pieces too... Many ideas to change the stickers but having the parts is hard, and buying them only hads to the price !
I think now that lego has released an 8 stud nascar stock car the next big racing series car almost has to be an indycar set especially with the deal that they have with mclaren. It’s just weird to me that lego has the mclaren family basically completed except for the indycar. I know part of that is the fact that indycar has poor viewership outside of the USA but I feel like fans of the speed champion line and mclaren would still buy it without it having the easy recognizability as some of the other racing series
How to fix the back of the Nascar set, to have brick built tail lights ? The stickers in many Speed Champions cars make the sets lose personality, if we don't want to use them... To me the lights and the cars logo/brand symbol, always should be printed pieces, since it is what gives them the recognizable look...
Ok, there’s a solution to the orange fenders. Lego did made them in dark turquoise? this year from the City and Friends themes. The city set in particular is the Race Car and Car Carrier Truck, which has a total of 8 of them. I’ll be getting that to replace the yellow fenders on the Camaro.
If I had to choose between this set and the f40, (which I also saw your review on that car) I would definitely pick the f40, I just don’t really like the colors, and because of that it looks pretty messy
I have never been more dissapointed with a SC car, die hard nascar fan here so maybe I wanted too much. But its really like they didn't even try with the paint scheme. The Dark horse looks more like a Cup car than this.
It's weird because the front end design looks fantastic but everything behind that is just a flat blocky mess. The build of the spoiler is interesting but the rear end just looks extremely lazily done. I get that they were limited by the build of the spoiler but if you need to sacrifice the entire look of the car for one small feature, I don't understand how that sacrifice made sense. I think I'm going to look into trying to mod this into just a standard street camaro using the front end design as a baseline
@@bigbrrbrr5954 that has nothing to do with the build being flat and blocky. They sacrificed the whole rear end of the car design just for the spoiler build. They painted themselves into a corner with sideways building. My point was that the front end looks great so I'm going to try to customize it into a street car with a full rebuild of the middle back. It being a NASCAR doesn't mean the design has to look bad
Not a fan of this one at all. Kudos to lego for trying something and I'm of course happy for those of you that love it. Definitely not for me though. Big miss
Headlights on the f40 ruin it completely and the spoiler on this one just looks stupid. Also I wish they'd stop doing stickers, prices go up and up and we still get stickers, it's 2024 ban stickers.
The teal that should’ve been used on the Aston Martin set.
Ya

Yeah there's something with those tail lights that made me want the Ferrari F40 more
They aren't easy to fix... not sure if there are curved pieces like that in clear red color for brick built tail lights.

1:00 I agree. I hate loose parts like this on speed champion builds. I prefer sturdy compact builds.
The F40 looks fire 🔥 😍
I just love your videos.
The red pipe is the fire extinguisher 🧯 and the red tile is the scoring transponder
Thanks!
2:25 is a fire extinguishers if the driver needs to pull it if there a fire in the car
Thanks!
I agree. I wish they would have made the car into either Jeff Gordon's car or even dale earndardt Jr. That's kind of the reason why I might not buy it
The red candle piece could be either a fire extinguisher or the fuel lines as that is how the fuel lines are in nascars

awesome video im buying both when i see them
I might be the only one in these comments who real loves this build

@@thegreenbrick No problem!
@@thegreenbrick Also hope you’d do a vid on it?

Great vid! I agree and I do think that the Ferrari is a bit better because of the realism
hopefully someone will drop some printed pieces to make separate nascars of our favorite drivers
6:26 not harsh ngl imo it’s a good set but the colors suck
So they can put teal into this car but not the Aston Martin F1 car... Interesting
The fact that the front bumper comes apart that easily and the tail lights are stickers makes me not want to get this
If the car’s rear part not escalating one piece height, will it be better?
Here in Sweden these sell for around 329 SEK, which is about 31 USD... 😬
😕 Yikes! I hope you have sales there!
They are actually 369 SEK which translates to around 34 USD, which is pretty outrageous
In New Zealand, these cars are $37.99NZD (tax all included) which is around $22~23 USD, after some 20% off sale, it’ll be around $18 USD.
I'M GETTING THE ZL1!!
Got both on my shopping list. 😊
This looks like somthing I made from a Lego creator bucket
Please print those lights😭
I think it's awesome and LOVE the colors.

Yikes! I can imagine your disappointment as a die-hard NASCAR fan! I hope they redeem theirselves or else we’ve got some major mods to do to this one!

That ferrari F40 is sexy tho
Go to the video from yesterday I sent you a comment about the headlights
No nascar cup car has ever had a clear spoiler
There have been partially clear ones. (Clear center with black border)

I will skip this one and keep the budget for something better.
love the video, hate the car! thanks greenbrick

It could have been better than that, l'm not into it.
That front is just eugh
The colour scheme is terrible 🤣🤣🤣

@@j1m909 womp womp its just stickers, stop being a wuss
What a childish car for a 4yrs old.
woah its almost like Lego is marketed towards children...!
The stickers are so bad 🤢🤮 why not more prints in this set? Shit lego
