    The TBI motors are awesome. I probably should have bought a TE TBI but I bought the XC…a lot of motor. Great videos.

    just picked up the same bike. I traded in a 2023 TX300 and went with the TE. Looking forward to a more cush ride. TX is a fun bike but it doesnt absorb rocks and roots all that well. Good video!

      I’m on the fence to do the same. I love my 2023 TX, but it’s really a race bike. For what I do, either are beyond my skill, but I think I’d be more comfortable on the TE.

      Thanks! Yes, down Horseshoe that day. We went up Horseshoe the day before. Here’s one of our runs up Horseshoe in the past. Such a great trail!!

    Awesome trail and bike! I’m getting my 24 TE250 this week! What did you do at the hour mark for break in? Oil change? How many hours have you put on it?

    • @BTRride
      @BTRride  10 місяців тому

      Congrats on the new bike! I did a few heat cycles and took it easy for the first couple hours. After that it’s been game on! I have a few hundred miles on this bike now. Gear oil change after the first ride. Hope that helps. Enjoy the new bike! 👍

    What are your thoughts on the new Braktec clutch and brakes in comparrison to Brembo?
    How far do you get off a tank?

    • @BTRride
      @BTRride  10 місяців тому +1

      I think they are better than the previous model, but they are still not Brembos in my opinion.

    Thanks for the video. Nice trail. Do you still like the te300? I’d really like to get one, but I can’t decide between husky and Ktm.

    My favorite trail out there.. do you prefer this over the PDS?

    • @BTRride
      @BTRride  11 місяців тому

      Such a great one! Yes, I prefer the linkage. The PDS on the 24 model is much better than previous models in my opinion though. 👍

    Better than carbs?

    • @BTRride
      @BTRride  11 місяців тому +1

      I think we’re finally at the point where these bikes are, dare I say, better than the carb bikes 😬. The XC mix gas tbi motor is the best 2 stroke motor I’ve ever been on.

      @@BTRride skeptical but excited. Figured my next bike might have to be electric. Or worse, a beta.

    How are the brakes compared to the Brembos?

    • @BTRride
      @BTRride  11 місяців тому +1

      They definitely don’t compare to the Brembo brakes. It’s my only gripe with the bike. Still can’t imagine why they use Braketec on their “premier bike” incredible bike otherwise!

    I want to update my ktm 17 - 300 exc What’s your advice 2023 TPI or husky 2024 TBI ?

    • @BTRride
      @BTRride  11 місяців тому +1

      Personally I’d go for a TBI over a TPI. What type of riding do you prefer? The mix gas 300XC or TX TBI is the best motor I’ve ridden, but it’s got a lot of power. I prefer the TE or XC-W in more technical terrain. Hope that helps.

    • @stephenlittle8541
      @stephenlittle8541 11 місяців тому +1

      @@BTRride Thanks for reply - I ride mainly singles terrain , so would prefer the exc i- Better suited bike in Australia .

    Your front might be sprung too hard. It looks like every time you hit a rock it bounces up.

    • @BTRride
      @BTRride  11 місяців тому +2

      That’s what you took from the video? The bike is sprung correctly for my weight and the suspension feels super good. Maybe you’re just not used to hitting rocks that fast! 😉😉
