Gary Numan cover: Boys Like Me

A cover of Gary Numan's "Boys Like Me" from the album "Dance" originally released in September 1981. The track featured the late Mick Karn on bass and the voice of Connie Filapello speaking in Italian. This cover was recorded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. March 2012. Bass by Artemis Lyle. The lovely woman in the video is Fiona Bates. Makeup by Lola Ramona. Voices taken and severely processed from random French and Italian soap operas and porn.

I think this is one of the better Numan covers that you've done of late (as I have said before, I have a preference for the less obvious tracks). Congrats!

Spectrasonics Trillian. It helps if you know how to play bass but I rarely use my own bass playing. Trillian sounds better if it's used properly.

LOL thanks for replying I haven't played a fretless bass since 1983 and still don't own one hopefully I correct that as I have a few songs I would like to with a real fretless bass rather than playing a keyboard to emulate a fretless bass LOL but I would need a lot of practice I ain't that good and no where bear as good as your bassist and still a great cover version once again Tim
