Recently they made a change on the client that allows you to have the game in the language of your preference. If you cannot read Korean, you could try changing the in-game text.

13:11 once nemesis plays this champ more, he will 1v5 in situations like this...ult + jaws + QE (the aoe damage) will absolutely smash them entirely...cant wait to see it
It actually is fun to play. I'm not great but he seems potentially busted. I like that he has no mobility creep though, at least. I think he could potentially fill mid, supp, 'ad' (like zigs) and jg roles though (maybe, never tested that just curious). He seems like he has amazing mana efficiency with QE and WE, though.
fiddle should have died at 23:13, nemesis had 957 AP & fid was hell deep in hwei ult + QE + passive lol. the timing of stormsurge animation when slowed is also pretty obvious that it proc'ed upon fid's death.
the skill floor isn't high at all. just bc you have more skills doesn't mean the skill floor is "high". It's not like Gnar has a high skill floor bc he has 6 (active) skills. Every skill is pretty straight forward at what it does. You get used to it in the first 5-10 games. It's not like "pressing Q-Q" for harass instead of simply pressing Q like on any other champs makes the champ harder... Compared to champs that actually have high skill floor (like GP, Riven, Draven, old Asol etc) it's not hard. Champions with high skill floor need a significant amount of practice just to fundamentally make the kit work as intended. Like, if you aren't practiced at catching axes, Draven is literally not a champ. If you can't do fast q combo, double cast or aren't used to spacing single q charges constantly, Riven is literally not a champ. Not the case with Hwei. You might need some games to know the ideal skill or combo for any given situation but the champion still works fine even if you just use his skills in a not completely braindead way. edit: I'm not hating on the champ btw. Nothing I'd ever play myself but think it's a very cool design. I like all specialist class champs in general. Nice that a new one is finally coming out again. But it's just not a particularly high skill floor champ. Skill cap, btw, also not as high as champions that can benefit the most from sheer mechanics (like Fiora, Katarina etc)
@@bexclue3007 I will say that champ looks like a low skill floor, high ceiling champ...the movement speed, shield and zone control ought to be used correctly for max effect but if you are low elo you don't actually have to use those spells properly to get your damage off - you can just stand back, wave clear and poke, fight team fights front to back, zone objective fights with ult and you are piss chilling... no need to use movement speed, shield or even root spells effectively in low elo, you just get your damage and zone control off with claw, ult, whatever the comet (qw?) and burned ground spell combinations are and you are basically a normal control mage - the better you get a positioning and skill rotations, the further up you can play, provide more utility for the team and the higher you climb with this champ
You have to pick one priority role (two least played roles), to avoid long queue times, since there is no autofill. Usually sup and adc/jngl are priority roles
Yea definitely getting invoker in League now. 😂 But Hwei is going to be way more busted because he is new champion and as we all know all new champions are busted and will have to be nerfed every patch until next season. 🤣🤣
Not a fan of this champion. Too many ability combinations making it overcomplicated. Spammable abilities at all times and from a distance, you can kill whilst enemy laner is supposedly playing safe under tower. Another Aphelios nightmare for the balance team, and ofc the balance team will get the blame. It will either be too good or irrelevant like 120 champions in league.

league players are so brainrotted that they think this champ is so incredibly complicated when the reality is that you just have to press some extra buttons. wahhhh. fighting games have so many more combos man. people call this champ "league's invoker" when hwei's way simpler. all his damage is skillshots, he has no dashes, low armor, & can be outplayed with smart positioning. his skill ceiling rewards players for accuracy & positioning as well as knowing what abilities are best for different situations. compare all that to champs like k'sante that literally have "no" buttons with shit like unstoppable & gaining damage from resists which is counterintuitive, unfun, brainless game design. same thing with having an actually 90% untargetable fucking lap cat that pumps heroin into hypercarries (worse before, but having an untargetable champion is actually the worst possible thing they could have thought of). they said they could, and they would, when they should have asked if they should. people cried over aphelios because players will shoot down anything that has more than one line of text. aphelios is at a fine spot now that people stopped pissing their pants over him because at the end of the day, he's still an immobile adc that has access to 3 spells at any given time, 2 of which share a cd. he has 2 guns with big icons next to his HP bar at all times. didn't take long to figure out what they did. same shit will happen with hwei once people actually play games vs him. it's the people that are bad at the game that'll keep complaining because they just never bother to try & read what the champ does.
I mean this champ has like 10 abilities. Riot doesn't know what to invent nowadays, I feel like it's unfair to other champs to have a champ that has this many abilities in his kit, plus he has mana regen included.. He has no setbacks wtf. My bet is it will be broken. It looks nice and must feel great to play but if you think about it they just picked abilities from other champions and put it in this one, not so original. I like him but looks disgusting to go against. Will be years of balancing before they get it right, but they probably won't. Another champ that will be broken, then nerfed to shite, then buffed broken etc

In exchange for having a wider toolset (that doesn't actually deal a lot of damage), Hwei is extremely squishy and immobile. On release he is going to be absolutely dogshit except in high elo and proplay. In fact, he might be worse in high elo because his flaws will be exploited more. Don't be too worried about this champ, unless he's on your team.
@@aljosailic9725 aaaah..don't compare those legendary characters to this strange artist abomination - Jayce and Nidalee transform through their ULTIMATE and transform their entire kit from range to melee, it is very clear to both players and opponents what spell rotation is in use and which one is appropriate in a given scenario this guy has movement speed/ghost for all allies, root, three different slows, fear, claw/pull back, shield, vision, mana regen, ability resets, wave clear, percent max health dmg, missing health dmg/execute, isolation damage, AoE damage, stacked damage, immediate damage, delayed damage, damage over time... read that list for a second and tell me that sounds like Nidalee or Jayce??? that champ is gonna be BROKEN as soon as people pick up how to use his 10 abilities designed to play out nearly every situation - he doesn't even have to itemise to play with this many options in his kit because he has the correct spell for every opponent in his kit already - and the best part is you don't even see the rotation the way you would with nidalee, nor are the abilities seemingly designed in a comprehensive concept like melee/range - they are truly art, all over the place and visible only to the artist, you need to keep track manually of each ability and cd to know what 3 things could come next
