You made me fall in love with hwei, didn’t understood him at first but after your few videos I started maining him and now can’t take the satisfaction of playing anything than him, he’s so versatile and after s14 patch he’s popping off to another level
@@Lurkki-i last time I played him, because I’m taking a break in league he was nerfed and early is a little weaker, but if you get some kills he’s still crazy good. He has so much versatility on lane with all those skills I was ungankable for enemy so give it a try, he’s a great champ after you get control of his whole arsenal
Feel like Hwei gets countered way harder but it’s nice to see a champion with a higher skill ceiling that isn’t reliant on 30 dashes! Zwag is so good at spell slinging I envy it
Btw, if you kill jhin as hwei before he kills you, you get a hidden passive of 3.33 magic pen ( as jhin you get 4.44 lethality ) just something that might be fun next time! A little extra magic pen wont hurt
That was the secondary quest at the top right. To get the 3.33 magic pen you need to kill jhin with your R. The quest starts when both champs are level 12. (Jhin needs to kill hwei with curtain call to get 4.44 lethality)
Hwei is super fun, he's just not in an amazing meta position right now because he's pretty slow and immobile so all the Assassin midlaners abusing the AP Assassin items and the Lethality buffs make life hard for him in normal matches. That plus his high skill floor makes picking him up really rough since most lanes will counter you as an assassin. Honestly if they give him more buffs all he really needs is a smidge more range on his Shield, Eyeball and his Jaw. The Jaw is super powerful if u can land it but it's his shortest range spell (Jaw 800 range, except for his Shield Pool 650 with a 350 radius) which makes its uses in fights very limited especially with how squishy you are and how many assassins, engage tanks and bursty fighters there are right now.
recently tried going Electrecute Hwei and its so easy to proc it while procasting your passive and at lvl 6 basic ult with EE QE WE combo deals so much with electrecute and ignoring ludens and going for shadowflame, stormsurge, liandry seems so much more powerful than ludens first into anything
i like malignance more cause it allows u to combo often with the ult cooldown plus when ult spreads it creats the burning field udner everybdoy and a magic pen as well

Malignance passive is pretty terrible on Hwei, that passive scales off dmg it does, since first tick of Hweis ult will trigger that passive it will have a minimal radius as dps part of that ability barely does any dmg, the explosion part will not trigger it since malignance passive has innate 3 second cooldown (identical to ult duration). Also Slow part stars low and accelerates, much like Nasus's slow so enemies will have time and enough ms to move away from Malignance pool. The only reason to every buy Malignance is to reduce cooldown on ult, passive is wasted on Hwei, but in my experience it's better to boost his basic skills more than his ult, he really isn't ult reliant mage.

Zwag any recommendations for an Aurelion Sol Mid build? Kinda Struggling. Im using Luden's Companion for Burst but idk i feel like there must be more ^^'
Try Morgana mid with Liandry into Riftmaker + Dark seal and Sorc shoes. Runes are dark harvest, cheap shot, ult hunter and gathering storm with adaptive. You're pretty much safe from ganks with your Q and E and your W does a great waveclear.
Zwag did you see smolder has one more upgrade to his q after the mini elder dragon. The last upgrade makes it explode in a circle making its aoe way bigger. Think its when you hit like 1000 stacks which seems kind of nuts to hit that many stacks.

you need to kill jhin with the ult, the ult especifically need to kill jhin to work
the quest requires a kill with R, and i don't think that zwag got a ult kill

Two are good, but one is good for everything(caster) and other only for her ult
