I only had an issue trying to go flatbed division, the training thru them was really good. If you need experience and your license id recommend swift and go dry van or reefer. You stay there for a year, your Cdl is paid for essentially, stay there for 2 they pay you back what you paid in for it
@@LobbsTrucking nice thanks for that info. I love the look of the Swift trucks. I assume they probably cover all of the u.s. and up into Canada . Once your driving on your own can you ask for trips that go to certain areas of the country or is it all assigned randomly?
Well, the first week I was here I was put in a room by myself, but I think it’s because the hotel was so busy they could only get a king bed for me at the time. In my next video today I go into that. Thanks for watching
i have a felony on my record its bin 7 years since then, my personal driving record is clean and i dont use drugs...will they accept me into there school?
Do you know what Swift stands for sure wish I finished training and you know why it's that way because most of you guys either fall asleep at the wheel or just don't know how to drive the route so you have to go on you guys need to get better and bring up the reputation of Swift not that it's a very good one as it is
I know the reputation is bad, but being young in the industry, I need my experience and my license. I’m not gonna let a reputation bring me down. I hold old school values and know my self worth. So far swift has been nothing but awesome in the academy, being supportive, and offering a great informative training experience.
Chad you don’t have to be an ass for no reason especially when Swift is the biggest carrier in the US , of course it’s going to have more inexperienced drivers and especially more since they help with school as well. Everyone starts somewhere and the guy is barely in school quit hating too much , Lobbs keep doing you man I wish you the best on your trucking journey!
I’m starting CDL school for swift October 9 in Memphis for the flatbed division so wish me luck lol see you out there bud
How did it go?
Proud of you bud!
Whats up dude? Im in Louisiana too waiting for them to set up my online course
There you go, you got this. Go get that license!
Any thoughts on the top gun training?
If you want to be able to learn a lot of extra points and more challenging backing maneuvers I’d say do it.
Is swift a good company to work for? How long do you have to work there if you get your CDL through swift ?

@gts3004 I’m not 100% sure, you could probably get on a fleet thou. OTR, dedicated, or regional
Is the training on app pulse recommended to complete to speed up process
Maybe you mentioned it, but did they put you in a room by yourself at hotel or was it shared?

Hey Chad, leave those kids alone
Messed up your paper logs? Rewrite history ol son!
Haha, yeah I messed up a flag and some of my lines weren’t the best lol
My recruiter told me 650 a week
It may have changed I’m not sure
