I go through about 1 or 2 every year and have to replace the CV end with a kit. I do have the after market driveshaft ready to be installed and be done with the boot rips. Don't buy the Amazon crappy kit. The best one I found was in 1A auto
I found out that 1a auto has better quality. I go through about 3 per year and that is due to driving lots of miles per month. What helps my CV boot rip more is the 3 inch budget boost lift I put in. It changed the angle of the shaft causing more wear on the boot. I have a double cardan shaft I am about to install and hopefully that cures the multiple rebuilds I have to do per year. I agree! Amazon is crap and their rebuilt kits only lasted me 3 days. As for the title of this video, for $1000 savings is pure BS whoever sold him that lie. Must have been the steelership
thasnk for the vids just pick up the parts to do the auto headlights gonna install tomorrow. Do you know if its as easy to had defrost side mirrors or headed seats. Id image seats are lil more trouble to get the units wired. Also curious if all WJ have the wireing in the back area to add the extra 12v socket?
The heated defrost mirrors are super easy! Just install them and plug them in and when you hit the rear glass defrost they come on. I need to look into the rear 12v install. Thanks for the view!
Mines a 00 Grand Cherokee limited V8 and these shafts are impossible to find someone stole mine really sucks mine appears to be the CV joint on both ends I've been to the salvage yard and bought three none work
