Ace jammed with my band Alive twice-once in NJ and once in Toronto. And at the Toronto gig he decided he wanted to play DRC. So him and the guitarists went over the parts, unplugged, in the dressing room. He was singing/humming the harmony line in his high-helium Ace voice and I was trying not to crack up. And then, right before we went on, he said ‘I’m gonna sing DRC too.’ We were sceptical as it’s fairly high-pitched and Ace ain’t exactly Pavarotti. Well, sure enough…we do the song and he hits the first line “I feel uptight…’ and realizes it’s out of his range. He then proceeds to pretend the mic isn’t working! 😂

The bass player yells "A" AT HIM LMAO
And to think, some guitar tech poured his heart and soul into tuning that guitar to perfection for like 20 minutes. 😂
