Hey man I really hope if you have any idea on this. My FFB fails against resistance and shuts off. The rest works fine but only the FFB stops. I did open it and check the sensor on the back of the motor and it's not broken.
Thanks for sharing. I have exactly the same issue. It started with a soft spinning left and right. Some days later in changed into a hard fast turns like in your error video. I would like to do the same but fail in finding the spare part. 🤷🏼♂️
Mine just slid off with some force. I think I levered it with a screw driver. Alternatively there is an upgrade you can do with a metal pinion from ebay. I plan to do this in the future
@@2losersinbasement Sorry for the late reply, here is the link www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273850539897. The info is in the description of my other video which is a guide on fitting the metal pinion and bearings.
S03 is the stock but some people recommend the S02 due to a little bit more torque (but potentially less rotating speed which might be an issue for drifting)
would that fix my issue? My FFB fails against resistance and shuts off. The rest works fine but only the FFB stops. I did open it and check the sensor on the back of the motor and it's not broken.
hi i have a tgt with several wheels and have not had any issues since getting when it was first launched now if it were to break down sometime in the future i decided to purchase the t300 hub only for just £239.00 to use temporarily say for a few months whilst sourcing something decent to replace the tgt like maybe a DD wheel especially if thrustmaster were to ever make one for the playstation console like ps5 which i have? i went for the t300 hub only as i already have a few wheels to use but i have read numerous reports that the t300 isnt that reliable but then also some people have had them for 6 or 7 years without a problem ? what i would like to knoe is do you think ive done the right thing or should i have got the newer t248 ?? although you cant change the wheel on it it might have been a bit more reliable being its a newer design ?? but then if i start to pay out £300 for that then i might as well pay a bit more and buy the tgt 2 hub to replace my tgt so i dont know wether to taake the t300 back and just save up for a tgt 2 hub ? what do you think any advice muchly appreciated thankyou in advance 3
That sounds like the motor is on its way out. The FFB does also weaken when it gets hot so try switching the fan on so it runs all the time. Hold down mode and press the ST button on the wheel. The one I bought was £39.99 from the UK ebay site but they don't seem to be listed at the moment. There is this one on the US site for around the same ($59 = £43) www.ebay.com/c/19025442429
@@simpulse5825 Thank you so much. I had the wheel for 2 years now. I never knew that fan thing until today. the fan always ran automatic on my wheel. Mostly off when playing F1.
im searching for an issue I have with my TX. When I steer left the wheel returns to center normally. When I steer right the wheel returns to the center but very slowly. When the wheel is calibrating itself the wheel seems like something is "braking" the rotation. Are you aware of this issue or maybe know how to fix it?
hi all. i can to take off the brashed motor to instal brushless motor?? i have the t150. so the encoder from t150 is not up one the stock motor. i think is brushed 540 the stock.. i check the conectors from the board, conectors whene is pluged the motor..have 3 cable the red annd blue give the electricity. the blakc maybe is ground.. i am think to install brushless with ESC, but i dont know if works this. enyone to know this?
Hello, maybe you can help me ... Please answer me ... I own a Thrustmaster t300rs GT edition steering wheel but I misplaced my power supply. Impossible to find one on the market so I will have to make it. However since this is a 4-pin power supply there are 2 pins which I suppose should receive a voltage of 220 volts but I don't know which of the 4. And the other 2, if they are bridged, or .. .I dont know... ? Can you help me using a multimeter. Thank you.
the plastic black breas and causes calibration issues cause its not sealed.. if its only cracked use some hot glue and it wors fine.. but if its broekn broken or missing a chunk. u need to just 3d print it
Could you post the link to the motor, please? I have the same problem and the link above isn't the right motor (Ricoh MP 4000 Complete Oem 24V 2A Brushless Fuser Drive Motor Assy :/)
The listing appears to have changed since I posted that link. These motors now seem quite difficult to get hold of. Perhaps Thrustmaster hold them but not sure if they will sell them separately. This is the link to the manufacturer's product, however they will only sell in bulk orders to businesses: en.hengdrive.com/Products/BLDC%20motorsB4260MBrushlessDCMot.html
when you were replacing the black piece that holds the magnet, how did you know how far from the hall sensor it should sit? or did you just glue and push in as far as it went?
I didn't have to replace the magnet on mine, so I'm not sure. I think as long as it doesn't affect the motor shaft, the wheel will calibrate when it is switched on.

Does the servo on the link provided come with the heat sink around it
My fan is always on when I noticed ffb fading. My TX is woking w/o any problems since that time.
Is is normal for the motor to have steps in it when i rotate it?
n why?
Nice video, thank you. Could you please explain how you manage to remove the white pinion gear from the shaft of the motor? It seems quite stuck.

Which of the motors did you use?
There are 5 options, B4260M-S0X (1-5), on the linked page.
S03 is the stock but some people recommend the S02 due to a little bit more torque (but potentially less rotating speed which might be an issue for drifting)
If its just the internal magnet it is possible to fix without even removing the motor or soldering anything.

No probs. Also if you turn the overall forces setting down to 60% in the thrustmaster control panel then the motor is not working so hard.
