- The founder of Playboy magazine is the focus of a new Amazon Prime series, “American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story.” His son, Cooper Hefner, joins TODAY to talk about being the chief creative officer of Playboy Enterprises, which he describes as a “digital content company” today. He also admits he has some “good stories that are probably better for another time.”

I found it very admirable that the employees of his were extremely loyal. Mary his secretary was a gem and he treated her with such kindness and affection...the staff at the mansion also were great...it says a lot about Hef that these people truly weren't just employees...
