I think I might be able to start a business with $82,000....but turning it into the success that Hugh Hefner did would be a tough one. Gloria Steinham was right. Hef didn’t exalt women, he degraded them with this lifestyle. What a brave 29-year old she was to go undercover to expose him and try to wake her gender up. He destroyed countless families, ruined many men, broke our nation in a way that outside enemies couldn’t. I’m so sorry he was hurt in his youth, twice rejected by girls he loved, but his backlash to the hurt has taken many people with him. So much shame.

While he wasn’t perfect borderline shady he was a visionary and is a part of making Hollywood and world history. He was a sadder individual than we know it… and that insight to his trauma with his ex wife cheating on him and him getting rejected seem to have cut him deep. His final days were not good from what we know. And now his legacy is up for auction. His wife is in charge of the foundation now and selling parts of history rather than a museum. He has a deep distrust for women he felt vulnerable around and a unknowing trust for those who didn’t care. His wife has lied and lied taking from others stories and nightmares and even good experiences from playboy and heff. A modern Hollywood tragedy. ….

It's pathetic. Talk about the use and abuse of women! That's right -she got paid $50 to do the infamous red velvet calendar shoot bc her car got towed and she didn't have the $ to get it out. She still had red hair for Christ's,sake! He sold them for $500 to Hef. Like really? My Aunt worked there for 20 years and has a blast!

I wish he had been more of a public figure. He did have TV shows, but I really think he was afraid of being killed by some bible-thumping religious nut. Larry Flynt (Penthouse) was shot and paralyzed by one of those types. It could also have easily happened to HH if he had run for a political office or had continued in show business. Jealous and religious people are the most common and vicious murderers on this earth. Want to see the most devout Church Congregations in the USA ? Visit a PRISON on any Sunday.

My brother and I was caught by our dad in the early 1970's with a Playboy and we thought man are we in trouble. My father was a Methodist to. He took the Playboy, opened up to the centerfold, looked at it and said, "Don't let your mother see this." He than gave it back to us and walked away. We were dumbfounded because he was kinda strict father. From then on the three of us has had a special bond. R.I.P. Dad.

You loved your children with all you heart they never wanted for nothing you not only took good care of them you gave and showed them love you didn't abandon them and because of this they have become grounded confident and honest people, an as a parent all we want is for our children is to be happy with themselves and not feel messed up by other peoples opinions and guilt. God bless to your family and there future xox
