I wish he had been more of a public figure.He did have TV shows,but I really think he was afraid of being killed by some bible-thumping religious nut. Larry Flynt (Penthouse) was shot and paralyzed by one of those types. It could also have easily happened to HH if he had run for a political office or had continued in show business. My brother and I was caught by our dad in the early 1970's with a Playboy and we thought man are we in trouble. My father was a Methodist to. He took the Playboy, opened up to the centerfold, looked at it and said, "Don't let your mother see this." He than gave it back to us and walked away. We were dumbfounded because he was kinda strict father. From then on the three of us has had a special bond. R.I.P. Dad.

I just watched a .oviedo about him in 2022, and most of the girls were not happy. They said it was like they were in a cult. They also said they didnt like having to miss with each other. The girls probably wanted to get married like most women or get out one. Most did it for the money they said.
