I am doing these with around 3 weeks.i definitely think my upper lip is plumping,I'm very hopeful long-term it will lessen my fine lines as it does instantly whilst doing this massage.dissapointing people don't report back with their experience after a few weeks or month for us newbies to this x
came here to maintain a youthful face (im 26, and seeing aleady fine lines develop (particulary in my forehead and mouth). I have re-realized the amazing feeling of massage and I guess myofascial release of the face! I watched this a while back, it is great advice!!! You get it by consuming a whole-foods plant based Vegan diet, exercising your body, doing these facial exercises, always wearing sun screen, not drinking, not smoking and never drinking through straws or small water exits. Abigail is awesome!! Those are my go to's! That is what I have always done minus her facial exercises, haven't done them yet but I am 31 and people think I am 21. I don't look different than when I was 21.
It's a family trait from my father's side. I call it Puppet Face. I know the lines are sometimes called Marionette lines. These exercises have softened them considerably. Thank you for sharing.
Abigail you are the only one who have a good massage for the mouth lines. Most of the people are worry about the forehead lines, but having lines around the lips, called barcode, look awful in the face. I believe it is possible to soften them with this exercise. Thank you.
Ladies be consistent. It takes time, I've been doing these for 3 months (slacking this holiday season lol) and I am seeing results. We are all different, some may see results sooner, I'm losing weight as well so I'm slowly sagging as I'm lifting so it may take longer but I'm seeing results especially around my upper eye lid. Ladies please do not wait until you are in your 40s and 50s to start taking care of your skin. I started at 15 with something as simple as toning and exfoliating I’ll be 50 in 2 weeks. I DO NOT wear foundation. Never had too. Absolutely no one believes I’m turning 50. Most think I’m about 35ish. It can be a bit frustrating at times because of how people approach me. Lifting weights has also helped with the elasticity in my skin and face but I also started that at 19. My point do not wait until you are too old to!start taking care of yourself. It does work. Also cupping works.good luck!

I'm 45. I don't do anything as such. But do lymph drain exercise. Just stimulate the lymph area around the face. Yoga halasana, chakrasana and kiss the ceiling. No wrinkles at all. I apply only natural home made simple ingredients. Curd, coconut oil, rice cream. People ask whether I'm 25...
Please check for a video on facial yoga. You can also look for the video how to make virgin. Coconut oil and sweet almond oil. Hope it will be helpful.

Not sure how helpful this will be on my aging skin which, at the age of 72, is losing it elasticity as I type! But I’ll give this a try because that is the primary area of my face that is aging fastest. Thank you for this video!
I also do a massage with my thumbs pushing back along my jaw line to keep those lumpy bags away that make a baggy look along the jaw line when women get older drain the lymphatic system I’m 55 it helps a lot I love you videos

Love your videos. Could you make one for reduction of the '11' lines between the eyebrows. Also, I'd like to make my eyebrows even, is it possible to strengthen the muscles on the lower side through facial exercises - if so, a video would be great. @Krissy Grant / You must remember she’s TOO YOUNG to have these type of lines. Thus, the message is: one can do these techniques only prophylactically - when your skin is still young and flexible. For older women, I would recommend massaging the upper lip with an electric wet brush in circular motion.

I think you've missed the point. Facial massages are super relaxing and makes you feel good, and if it adds to your skin's well-being then that's an added bonus. You should try it. Also, women aren't uniform and therefore your statement that women are insecure is false. I get that some people, men and women, are insecure, but maintaining good health with physical exercise whether it be working your facial muscles or your triceps is all good. :)
There is so much pulling that I wondered whether it is possible that the exercises will overstretch the skin to the point of drooping the skin further. I like the idea of massaging and awakening the area but would love clarification on this point. Thanks.
@@AbigailJames1 hi Abigail, I have been using Facegym here in the U.S., and one of the trainers applied heavy pressure around my cheekbone area, and I believe some of my capillaries have broken permanently - I've had red veiny blotches on my cheekbone area ever since. Is this (i.e. - too much pressure leading to broken capillaries) a possibility? Now, I cannot cover them up even with concealer. :*(
Love your careful selection of topics, techniques and voice! I have a thin face with sag around the mouth and a thin neck where the sag has started to show post menopause. Could you please suggest a massage for a thin, saggy neck? Also, do you believe in face yoga/ facial exercises? Many people do not recommend the stretchy movements as it can thin the face fat further. What is your opinion? Yes, please. I have frown lines. And how often to use these excercises, frown and laugh lines. One thing I use is to become a back sleeper to help me face and to smile more particularly when I look down. Thanks 😊
Im shook like i have only done it once while watching the video and took a picture right after to check if it worked and it definitely did. Even though i know that doing it just once won’t make a difference the effect will probably go after sometime but i have a feeling that if it’s done consistently it might actually work! Then wash off the saliva afterward cause it is a little smelly. Don't believe me? Try an ancient first morning saliva facial. It's very healing.

Hi thank you for your kind words. These methods do need to be tailored to your skin type, I would have thought twice a day is a little too much, so go with caution and don't over stimulate the skin
Tx for ur precious reply and advice. I ll keep it in my mind though it works for me and being a male my skin is fat and normally oily. I do this and facial massage in the morning and in the evening. I take 15 to20 minutes in the evening. And 10 minutes in the morning for the both exercises. Suggest me if i m doing right or wrong though my facial muscles are tighter now. Before these massages i was doing tanaka massage though it was also working but not working for a long time or the whole day but ur techniques work. If u think its too much then kindly suggest me for the massage routine. Tx

Is this stretching of the skin better for the under 50 crowd? As we are often reminded to gently pat-on many facial products, it seems pulling and stretching post menopausal skin a worry.
hello girls. it could probably be due to dehydrated skin bc you are too young to develop lines. try incorporating humectants (hyaluronic acid or diluted glycerin at 10%) in your skincare and im sure you'll notice a difference

Its good that you are starting early. Have you seen a dematologist? This seems odd for your age range.
I would recommend never smiling again. Better to be.line free than happy.

Mouth lines and aging wrinkles are beautiful. I'm an older man and love age lines. Women are insecure. What a shame. Lose lines are wonderful.
I think you've missed the point. Facial massages are super relaxing and makes you feel good, and if it adds to your skin's well-being then that's an added bonus. You should try it. Also, women aren't uniform and therefore your statement that women are insecure is false. I get that some people, men and women, are insecure, but maintaining good health with physical exercise whether it be working your facial muscles or your triceps is all good. :)

There is so much pulling that I wondered whether it is possible that the exercises will overstretch the skin to the point of drooping the skin further. I like the idea of massaging and awakening the area but would love clarification on this point. Thanks.
I have never experienced this in my practice. these methods are not for daily use. more to add into your whole routine a few times a month
@@AbigailJames1 hi Abigail, I have been using Facegym here in the U.S., and one of the trainers applied heavy pressure around my cheekbone area, and I believe some of my capillaries have broken permanently - I've had red veiny blotches on my cheekbone area ever since. Is this (i.e. - too much pressure leading to broken capillaries) a possibility? Now, I cannot cover them up even with concealer. :*(

Love your careful selection of topics, techniques and voice! I have a thin face with sag around the mouth and a thin neck where the sag has started to show post menopause. Could you please suggest a massage for a thin, saggy neck? Also, do you believe in face yoga/ facial exercises? Many people do not recommend the stretchy movements as it can thin the face fat further. What is your opinion? Also, are there any firming, filling and collagen-inducing creams you would suggest for the face and neck? Thanks in advance!

Im shook like i have only done it once while watching the video and took a picture right after to check if it worked and it definitely did. Even though i know that doing it just once won’t make a difference the effect will probably go after sometime but i have a feeling that if it’s done consistently it might actually work! love this. thanks. Also, did you know that saliva is very good for the skin? Especially first morning saliva. It does have an odor, but it's very beneficial. Then wash off the saliva afterward cause it is a little smelly. Don't believe me? Try an ancient first morning saliva facial. It's very healing.

Hi thank you for your kind words. These methods do need to be tailored to your skin type, I would have thought twice a day is a little too much, so go with caution and don't over stimulate the skin
Tx for ur precious reply and advice. I ll keep it in my mind though it works for me and being a male my skin is fat and normally oily. I do this and facial massage in the morning and in the evening. I take 15 to20 minutes in the evening. And 10 minutes in the morning for the both exercises. Suggest me if i m doing right or wrong though my facial muscles are tighter now. Before these massages i was doing tanaka massage though it was also working but not working for a long time or the whole day but ur techniques work. If u think its too much then kindly suggest me for the massage routine. Tx

hello girls. it could probably be due to dehydrated skin bc you are too young to develop lines. try incorporating humectants (hyaluronic acid or diluted glycerin at 10%) in your skincare and im sure you'll notice a difference
Thanks Abigail for your great video. I started using dental floss and developed small lines around my mouth, not the laugh line area, so can these massage exercises help to get rid of these small lines around my mouth due to using dental floss? Please advise.
