They’ve got a 60 year lease ending in 2067, so hopefully not any time soon.

I like where the leave out the part about 12 being purchased by someone in Va long before the NC guys got her, and restored it to operating condition on the Shenandoah Central RR before being moved a few years later to boone.

1 more locomotive of the original Yukon fleet, #195 still sits idle at Skagway, would love to see it at Tweetsie, where I know it will be taken care of...

Swati Yadav same but tweetsie should also buy and repair 71 from Dollywood and center the headlight

There should be a petition for someone to do that

I really don't think that a centred headlight would look good on a narrow gauge engine, nor have I seen any narrow gauge engines with a centred headlight, have you?

I also never like an engine being used as a source of spare parts.. Union Pacific 838, White Pass 71, a surviving sister engine, deserves better, than to be cannibalized for spare parts, they should be in a museum, like Grand Trunk Western 6323, or Milwaukee Road 265, or Union Pacific 3977, or Southern Pacific 2467...

Too bad they felt the need to do away with the Indians.
