I loved the whole film and Jennifer really does give an outstanding performance

😮 😊I watched this movie once, Then I rewatched it to see the clues that lead to a wonderful ending. . . I read the book. I am glad I watched the movie first because I hated the ending of the book. . . Some people don’t care for the actress, but I felt her controlled mannerisms felt real for a ballerina and of a Russian spy. I enjoyed it.
EXCELLENT film with such a PERFECT sequence that set the tone for the rest to come! I still have questions & theories but the juxtaposition of both stories here was THRILLING, yet kinda TENSE cuz u just KNEW something unpleasant was coming... 😬😱 #OUCH 🙈😳
The music is so good
I speak Russian fluently and some scenes( her cap wich is quite stereotypical and that motto «ни пуха не пера» before the performance is hilarious and embarrassing😂😬 but anyway I liked the movie

The book goes into detail about their physical characteristics that these actors didn't match. The male selection was way off. Swimmers body? I was shocked this guy even got to read for the part.

Jennifer Lawrence should not have done the lead part. Awful fake Russian accent. Americans have absolutely no business in playing foreign roles. They sound awful playing those parts. They should’ve gotten a real Russian actress.
Unfortunately, making a movie (especially with international locations) is very expensive. The studios seek to recoup their investment by using well known actors and/or Hollywood names to attract viewers.
