I'm Hans ! Und, I am Frans ! And we are here to pump you up !
I just wanted to say in reference to the comments at the beginning Matthew is awesome and let him talk as much as he wants! 😂(Zach is pretty great too 😄)
My nickname is "Mouthew" for a reason.
Love this podcast, would love you guys to do a combo podcast with Rhett. I think the three of you would be hilarious all in one place. Double feature? Dipped in Tone with Matthew and Pedal Pushers with Rhett?
Rhett would not survive a pod with both of us. We'd light his ass up.
Can we get Pops on the Podcast or a Live Stream?
One day. And it'll be glorious.
A series on the build would be awesome.
agreed
When I made my pedal board with a G2 switcher and some various stomp boxes and midi pedals,I ordered custom length cables from Goodwood Audio. Ordered a few extras at different lengths to have options. Highly recommend. 😬🎸👍
This is my board---------- Volume Pedal, Keeley Monterey, Mojo Hand FX El Guapo, Wah, Polytune 3, Wampler Mini Ego, Xotic Oz Noy Rc/Ac, Overdrive which gets switched weekly, EHX Eddy, Timeline, Big Sky.
My first pedals were an Ibanez Slam punk and a supertiny and cute Guyatone digital delay. That and Zoom505.
After that i went to a Boss GT3 and never looked back until 4-5 years ago because of That Pedal Show.
Now i'm in the HX Stomp + more pedals route and i love it.
I had the powered SKB as well. I completely forgot about it until you said that.
I don’t have a pedal board journey. I’ve got 6 cheap pedals that sit on the floor as I don’t gig.
My first pedal was a Digitech RP-80! I recently found it in storage, and went through my old presets... I've definitely learned a lot. The biggest lesson is that Mids are a good thing, and should not always be scooped.
Nice “Airplane!” reference.
BIG RED BIG RED BIG RED
LET'S GOOOOOOO! Big Red all day.
@MythosMatthew we need an episode of the 🐐 (you) chatting mince and rippin on big red.
(Fr tho you a cool cat man)
Check out the Rockboard pedalboards.
I use the Quarter Master 2 for trying out pedals or switching between one set of xyz with another set of the same type. Like I have a Treble Booster and Fuzz of one company in one loop and another set in the other loop.
Just remember that with power you really need a true isolated supply or you might get ground loop hum.
The Click and Clack of the pedal world.
That is the best compliment we could every receive.
@@MythosMatthewClick and Clack were the best!
I’ve been down a reverb research rabbit hole recently (which is quite difficult to say quickly!) for my P&W live board which has now ended with a Strymon (shock!) Cloudburst. Well I say ended, it’s only ended until it’s back open!
Timmons, for Modulation check out a Harmonic Term.
GigRig G3s is the way to go and a used Schmidt array
I mean, did you just invent the “piggy back” line of mythos pedals? Add a power supply out and an effects loop to the mjolnir, or any other pedal so that Matthew can have his audition slot? (Bottom mounted jacks so you can just put it in front of the board).
Great to see Ritchie from judas priest with no pedal board 😂
People want a Klon klone because John Mayer uses a Klon. Real Klons are unobtainable. Having a real Klon on your board will not hurt Mjolnir sales. Seeing the real thing on your board will make your pedalboard look like less of a Mythos advertising billboard. I see that as a good thing.
This is a ripe topic for a crossover podcast with the Chairmen of the Boards guys for some rig building fun
Custom paint it to look like starwars or Ghostbusters gear
Let me know if Matt wants to buy my TS-10.
How much?
I haven't looked on Reverb in a while. What did Zach give for his? I'd say mine was very good to excellent condition.@@MythosPedals
Has Matt had a chance to try Zach's thru his rig to see if he even likes it? I really want it to go to someone who's going to use it.@@MythosPedals
I still haven't fallen in love with a Tubescreamer. I like them but I feel it's best for lead playing, and I honest don't take that many leads. @@robertlewis8024
thanks for sharing
I would like at least a video (20+ minutes) for Zach & Matt's boards. Get a couple Pops Timmons cameos in this bitch.
Check out the Rockboard pedalboards.
Im tearing my board down, selling my Monarch and buying a Helix. Gotta try it... I will keep a small basic board with a couple pedals for my Ear Fuzz 5 watt boutique baby fender amp that I love dearly. Hope I'm making a good move?!?!
The Klon on the board is like Warren Buffet walking into the room-the “average” wealth in the room would suggest everyone in the room is a millionaire.
Dude,,,I am a firm believe there everyone should have a univibe of some ilk on their board somewhere. Them's my $0.02.
Square plugs and mogami from btpa or creation music company.

I made the jump to a big brain switcher recently. An unexpected fun rabbit hole is internally splitting the signal, running different pedals and then resuming the signal. I love running an overdrive in parallel with a wet clean signal. Have fun!
Early pedal combo for me was the Marshall Guv’nor into that yellow peavey delay
Should Rhett plan a Tube Screamer intervention for Zach?
This was fascinating
