I bought 3 different clones while on the waiting list for my Wildwood Mjolnir and none of them sounded right. Granted, none of those were Mythos, but they went from affordable to boutique. To my ear, the freqs in the Wildwood are just what my ears expect out of a Klon or a clone.. Though the tinnitus is starting to affect my ability to distinguish. Also, that into was 🔥 Love to hear your playing
I think the Joey version has really opened my mind to the Klon as more than a clean boosting tool. I paired it with my Z-Lux, and it is some of the most percussive, dynamic sounds I've ever gotten as a guitar player. I plan to video that sometime soon for the channel. It's nice to see that the Mass Street and even the normal Mjolnir offer a very similar sound that isn't as rare. Thanks for setting the record straight on germanium diode hype! What a crazy couple of weeks! Cheers, man!

Also, is the Wildwood the only current one with a charge pump? And how does the charge pump affect the sound - if at all?Thanks in advance for your insight.
I really love mythos pedal and I own some of them. But you have no choice which Mjolnir to I buy. In europe you can‘t buy a Wildwood Mjolnir in an affordable price. 😢 Hope Santa could bring me one. 😊

I don’t make that one anymore. It’s an earlier version of the wildwood. That doesn’t have the mods to sound more like my Klon

How do i know if my standard gold Mjolnir has the charge pump or not?
If you take the backplate off the PCB says +9V VERSION
@@MythosPedals very hard to read but it might say +9V right where the lead is attached? it's tiny. Board says Sept 2020.

It's similar to the first Wildwood. Just a straight up classic Klone with germanium diodes.
I have a few and have always wanted to see someone besides me compare them all. lol
