This method looks pretty cool, but after messing around a bit I found that using the flames attribute in temperature attribute slot with an intensity of 50 and a temperature of around 20 thousand to give a very bright realistic explosion. A simple technique to give yourself a slider for the temperature values, use a multiply node with 1000 on the bottom into the temperature slot and use the value on top to change the number of thousands.

When exporting frames they look good in blender , but when importing to aftter effects , the volumes are totally messed up

all they need now is to be able to import animation on FBX and be able to import camera tracking and image planes.. I know they're working on it last I heard, also alembic

i really try to understand it, the simulation run in realtime in Embergen but in Blender you need 3 years to render it

I couldn't get to the look of the "simple fire" example seen at 7:40, using that file. Is it even possible in blender, to achieve that exact same appeareance using the example vdb? What parameters should I set the material and render engine to get it?

The VDB sequence is slow in itself. Their program runs at 60fps, and there is currently NO way to change that.

it a realtime physics simulator.. relatively speaking one of the fastest available. try doing a physics sim in manta flow compared to this. seconds VS hours.

I see that everyone can export VDB and make it look realistic in Blender, but what happens to me is a lot of Gray fog, I don't know what to do, no one explains correct Shading, help me please

Is it possible to add it to the timeline to slow the animation down?

You cant get it to look beautiful / realistic in Blender, my strategy would be to export Blender renders to EmberGen or combine the scenes of both programs in a compositing app.
