I used this Behringer mic together with a Behringer u-phoria, voicemeeter and some eq (total cost ~60€) for twitch streaming for 2 years and after twitch compression you couldn't tell a difference to a other > 500€ setup.

The Sennheiser XS1 also fits into the SM58 3d print body for these. Great sounding $50 mic

I thought you audio sounded kinda weird.
SM58 is an industry standard mic. Nothing wrong with it.

There are services online that can print out files for you. I can't sell these prints unless the original creator gave out the rights to sell the prints.

You said SM 58, you should have said the SM 57. That is the mic that is almost identical to the SM7B when in that enclosure. 🤘

The difference between the SM58 and the SM57 is only the grille, which is screwed off. They use the same mic capsule
@@elektrocat8681 That's what I used to think, but there is a small deviation. I will try and find the video that proves it.
I have all three mics. They all sound pretty different, enclosed or not. They just all have that distinctive Shure sound. However, the KSM32 sounds pretty much identical to the SM7B.

Does anyone know if the sm58 case works with an sm57? I am worried the body might be a bit different and it won't fit.

Hey can you tel us what materials you used to 3d print it?
I think most listeners wouldn’t notice because they’re listening through the devices speaker but I notice a slight white noise like static in the background and some echoing. If this where like a commentary channel or a podcast it would probably bother me because of the constant use of the mic. But overall it is a good mic but obviously not the best

Possibly this DIY us better than the "Original" but I would use a Beta 58 clone instead.

Grill, where's the grill? That plastic grill doesn't do all what a grill's should do. Same problem with the original sm58->SM7b video as well. Good sounding mic anyhow.
