- What If Diddy Claps Back At Eminem Over the "Killshot" Diss?
The clash between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly kept hip-hop fans entertained for several weeks in what started as a diss mention of MGK on Eminem's album Kamikaze.
This then opened the way for a response from Machine Gun Kelly in the diss track "Rap Devil" and Eminem's counter-response in the track "Killshot".
Surprisingly to many, on the track "Killshot", Eminem accused Diddy of ordering the death of hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur.
Even though at the end of the track he claims he was just playing around, an allegation like that can't be taken lightly.
The death of Tupac Shakur is one of the biggest tragedies in hip-hop history.
Especially so for Diddy because Tupac allegedly died as a result of the East-West rivalry in which he and Biggie were the faces of the East Coast.
So suspicion has always been on the New York mogul for the death of Tupac, made worst by the eventual death of Biggie, his friend and protégé.
It is not farfetched therefore to think that the period around Tupac's death had probably the darkest moments in Diddy's life and career.
Notwithstanding, for as long as Tupac's murder remains unsolved, there will always be speculations of who gave the order and this will always include the possibility of Diddy's involvement.
However, a celebrity like Eminem affirming that possibility in his lyrics just gives it more merit than Diddy could ever wish.
So, even though Diddy has kept far from any rivalries since the death of Biggie, you could expect the New York rapper to do something about this one.
Obviously not by diss tracks as he's clearly not a match for Eminem musically.
The New York rapper, however, has a lot of influence in show business, power that he can leverage to hurt Eminem and his business in many ways.

I think Jimmy Iovine had Eminem diss MGK, and then he had MGK diss Eminem, to drive up sales for MGK's upcoming EP (and keep sales of Kamikaze going strong). At the end of the day, Shady Records and Bad Boy are housed under the same roof. It wouldn't be the first time a beef was manufactured to drive up sales and popularity for artists.
