There should be a subreddit for just making up stories so people could just post made up things there and not every other story in these subreddits would be accused as fake no matter how obvious it is
I used to use harness and leash for my kids. When my 19yo was 3ish, I took him to Old Man's cave. We are walking around an area with my kid on a leash when a woman and her kid, and the woman starts looking at me like I'm kicking my kid. Well, in the 10 seconds she gave me that look, her kid ran off towards a cliff. She ran and grabbed the little one, and I continued on my walk, confident and comfortable, in the fact my baby was safe.
One more story. My youngest is 7 and 5 years ago when I was using the leash with her, people were more accepting of this safety product. Most people asking where I got mine or commenting that they need to get one. But I did get 1 stupid comment. Some dude actually said, "I don't even treat my dog like that." He said that stupid comment with such confidence, like it was some sort of flex. And the only thing I could say was, " Then you are a bad dog owner."
So yes, use leashes on both dogs and little ones. They save lives of the ones you love
I am always fine with it IF the parent is doing it to keep track of their kid. Can't tell you how many times I saw parents using it to basically drag their kids around. And not even in the "the kid is throwing a fit so I gotta drag them" way, but in the "Alright I'm done here so instead of getting my kid's attention so they know we're leaving, ima just yank as hard as I can, even if it pulls them off of their feet and then drag them to the next place even if they're still on their butts" way.
And sadly the second one happens WAY to often. Heck even if your kid is misbehaving, I don't think dragging them via a leash is acceptable, but as a someone who threw themselves on the floor and HAD TO BE DRAGGED OR PICKED UP to be moved, I at LEAST understand.

Fun fact: it would take an adult eating eight tubes of toothpaste in one sitting in order to get sick
So, you should spit out the toothpaste, (because fluoride isn't good for your insides, so lessening its consumption is good,) and maybe rinse once, but not thoroughly. Dude mixed up spitting and rinsing.
In regards TIFU diabetic story if you ever are in a situation like that get a sugary liquid like juice or soda its faster acting than candy

@@TheApplyGuyyif nothing else they can give you some mixing syrup in a shotglass or mixed in a glass of water. Hell, a wine cooler might not be ideal with the alcohol, but it's relatively low compared to their sugar content. I call big BS there wasn't something they could come up with even if for some wild reason they didn't have coke for rum and whiskey mixers
One time I was at Target with my gf. We were walking and saw a light coming from the lightbulb aisle that looked like a flame was burning (I guess they make lightbulbs like that now?) She laughed and loudly said “Oh my god, the building is on fire!” We took two more steps and made eye contact with a man in the same aisle who had severe burn scars on his body and was missing most of his body hair. I still won’t let her live that one down
How do people not know that you spit out toothpaste and if there’s some toothpaste left you spit it out. I’ve never rinse it out.
If anything nicotine raises blood sugar not lowers it. I personally haven’t seen my blood sugar change while smoking 18:05
