I am among those who think the Stones are one of the greatest rnr bands...but listening to this, can't help but think how incredible their luck to land Mick Taylor... what a virtuoso. What excellence he brought to their live performances. And how modestly he executed it.
GIMMEE SHELTER- MICK TAYLOR ON FIRE 🔥!!!
Taylor slide on "All Down The Line", memorable.
However it's an all band in action on stage.
And Taylor did sweet FA with his career after quitting. He thought he was a senior partner after only five years with the band. His hubris did him in...
@@johannesbols57 Musically Taylor was more than a simple partner, maybe more about Keith ego for me.
@@johannesbols57 & what did the Stones do after he left?.....it didn't work out well for either
Taylor's guitar playing is second to none!!!!!
Genau! 🎈😉
With the Stones he was the best guitarist on the planet for those few years. Then obscurity.
I saw Mick Taylor with Buddy Guy in Montreal playing a smaller venue about 1500 people. It was around 1991. It was great.
@@tomslick2058 Mick T plays all over the world, doing his own thing magnificently, has loads of fans everywhere! Obscurity is not part of his life now :)
Saw him in Toronto in '81 at an even smaller venue. Then a month or so later saw the Stones play to 80,000 or so at Rich Stadium in Buffalo!
Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman are wonderful!!!❤ Best age Of Stones!!!❤
Mick Taylor's noodling is par excellence. I mean it brings tears to my eyes in the intricacy.
Oh man I taped two of his live performances here in Florida around 20 years ago (time flies) and he had to be the coolest guy on Earth. I think if his security people would have let him we’d still be drinking together right now. He was the real deal!
Overnoodling.
“Get your Yaya’s out”-definitely in the top 10 live albums of all time!
I've played "ya,ya's" more than any other album in my life! Greatest live album in my opinion. It never gets old.
That was the first Sones album I bought. My older brother had most of their early releases, so I didn't need to buy what he already had. I was about 16 years old then, and was still in school.
Jumpin' Jack Flash, 3 minutes and 17 seconds of pure Rolling Stones magic!
That opening riff still makes the hair on my neck stand up. Magic is right! " Ya don't want my trousers to fall down do ya?"
No doubt
Mick Taylor's guitar is so good that it leaves me stunned.
This is when they were the best. No question. Bluesy rock band.
Mick Taylor is brilliant and the Stones bring out the very best from him.
This is the best collection of live stones. The audio is superb. Can actually hear Mick's lyrics. Nothing better from 69-74 with Mick Taylor on lead, They really rocked then. I was lucky to be a teenager then and had the benefit of the real rock days. Nothing comes to this today.
Indeed.
Their '72 tour was pretty awesome too. I saw footage of the Austin, TX gig, it was excellent.
Ladies and Gentleman, I present you the greatest rock and roll entertainment on earth : The Rolling Stones! !!
Till I die ..love the Rolling Stones..
This version of Jumping Jack Flash is the best that I know about. The band was feeding off of the excitement of the NYC crowd. Mick Taylor’s guitar playing was sublime. Mick Jagger’s performance took swagger to another level.
Original single version buries this.
Jagger really liked Taylor’s playing
No way!@@lowmoon9025
Their 72 version on Ladies and Gentlemen is my favorite. Taylor absolutely tears it up.
Yeah I agree..that strained, high, overdriven acoustic….sounds like the same effects as on Street Fighting Man….
Thank you. I am reminded of Mick Taylor's talent in live performance.
Taylor brings the Stones to life !
Exatamente,
Maximum respect to the entire band members here in 2023 but this Live compilation is unreal, I need to have it on CD. UA-cam is unbelievable, they just find all this precious Stones treasure. Keep on digging mi Lads, from JRSC est 1965 ❤❤❤
It's get yer ya yas Out, album .
Its not all from Ya-Yas. It's from a number of different tours/shows from early 70s. But it IS all fucking GREAT! Kleermaker puts up the best live, outtakes, alt versions etc and i for one thank him much!
Mick Taylor?
I haven't heard an eñ tire album since I've had this roommate or recent memory!! 😮
Back when the Stones meant Something each album was anticipated for weeks, backyard keg parties with the new album on repeat everybody wasted, smoking commercial weed drinking Bud and making out good times man the best
yea i missed those days literally
Did I live next door to you?Sounds exactly Ike my teenage hood.

Almost 55 years later and Mick and Keith are still doing it. I’m 62 and been a fan since I was 7 (1968). Lol they’ve just always been there.
The stones destroyed time and entropy
I'm 61 and been a fan since I was 10 myself! First album i bought on release was GHS. And it moved Zep 4 off my turntable. Believe me THAT took a lot!
What a pleasure to hear Mick Taylor's sweet sweet tones. And kudos to You for these fabulously produced recordings!
Back when Rock mattered and was a good time!
Great Footage of the Stones Prime!
I am 8 years old watching this right now sincerely Thomas Ireland 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆
Thank You great rock and roll concert.stones 🎸🎶👍
The best stones!! with mick taylor
Thank you for all the great videos of The Stones, especially with Mick Taylor. Happy Halloween !
Danke die Lange.Zeit....Eure. Musik 🎶..hat.mir....geholfen ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Danke. 🏡. Dafür ❤
Best compilation of Stones live during the Taylor era hands down. Thank you.
What a decent compilation of their best Mick Taylor era ! It would also be cool to have one with Jonesy. Great job Thanks
Ecstasy! Tremendous videos, pictures and sound. A Mick Taylor fan’s dream, thanks K!
Kleermaker, once again you have impressed this die-hard Stones fan!! Excellent choice of classic material from Stones most prolific (Imo) era.
happy time of freedom, when the stones were the greatest R'n'R band in the world ...
Mick Taylor years were the absolute best. 69-74. They still had that rock blues sound. The stones were the truly the greatest rock n roll band in the world.
Better than Brian Jones years? I don't think so
@@Janarnaud54 I think so
@@bernardo7492 you are kind of agreeing. I’m talking also about the way they played w mick Taylor. Still rock band w a bluesy sound. Just great years.
best rock band of all time!
yes
Danke für die Lange.Zeit ❤❤❤❤❤Danke nochmal
What a fantastic version of "Gimme Shelter" and the video is a hit.
des musiciens , archeologues de l'audio pour notre plaisir a tous ,quel cadeau vous nous offrez les ROLLING STONES quelque soit les albums live ou studio MERCI
I got the blues its the best recorded live version I have ever heard. With Bobby keys, Mick vocal is at his peak and Keith vocal joining in the chorus....I am spell bound again. Thank you
And Mick Taylor's incredible guitar playing.
KLEER, THANKS so much. Your admiration for Taylor is abounding as we all share with you. This is a great package you've put together and I believe these are the years that catapulted them to R+R royalty to allow them to be playing 6 decades. Thank ya again mate, Peace,Rocky
Wowzer! Kleerie does it again! Really grateful brother this is superb...my favorite Stones era BY FAR. Worth it for I Got The Blues alone. Taylor shines throughout, loving it. Just Wow. Thank you.
Great job my friend!! Love the Stones, and to hear Mick Taylor solos is good for the soul...Love in vain, my god..
The Rolling Stones greatness has nothing to do with Mick Taylor. They'd still be what/where they are today had he never came along.
Saw them in los angeles collasium- it was carnival atmosphere from beginning to end. Drinks put in our hands, before we got to the entrance( thanks ladies ! Best show i ever saw- with out doubt ( with george thorogood, j guiles. Each getting better , each time wondering how the next would top the last, quite a night ) many stories from that day. ( hope the guy who raced into the dumpster is ok ) yeah, good times. - and thanks for the video- yeah ,great, guitar and everything phenominal. !
Killer version of Dancin with Mr D!!! I love Ronnie, but I wish mick Taylor would've never quit
Ronnie played fantastically on the tour of '76 as all the recordings available prove (not that he doesn't play great on the current tours...)
It was as if to show what skillful and versatile guitarist he was after MT had left the band.
Very nice selections, thank you.
Apart from being arguably the best ever frontman, Mick Jagger is an awsome lyricist.
Keith hates it wnen people (like us) express our admiration for MT. We should be tallking about how great a front man and singer Mick J is and what great songs he and Keith wrote. We should not still be talking about Mick Taylor.. but we are, even after all these years!
He hates giving credit to Brian as well. Mick T and Brian were key to the Stones success
@@J..398
Jagger/Richards songs are undeniably the 'key to the Stones success' !! 😂
Dude
Of Course We Are
Because 69-74 They Upped there Game So Much
In the Studio, Off the Stage, Live
Every Thing About the Stones at This Time Period…
And They Lived Through It
This makes my blood boil the music that thrilled the world
The Stones 😍😍😍❤❤❤❤
Keith wrote them, Mic sang them, and before Ron came let us not forget how awesome of a guitar Taylor played,... imagine if he/they had (made more) time, go back into the studio and and Taylor really make a go at it, in contrast to improvising on the spot (maybe a little buzzed too?) ,... Wish I was there. Sixty years old today and I'm too young to have been around for these shows,..., I just wasn't old enough yet --and Im born in 1963!!! Thank for posting this gies. We all thank you for a great show,...
Keith wrote them? Guess who wrote songs like You Can't Always Get What You Want, Winter, Brown Sugar, Sway and many, many more. No, not KR, but MR (sometimes together with MT).
Charlie‘s kick in Jumpin Jack Flash is just the best
Thank you, mr poster! Excellent performances by all.
Thanks UA-cam, I gotta save this, incredible compilation.
Great assortment, thanks
Bill Wyman, one of the finest bass players ever, under rated.
thank you - the only song I wish you would have put on here is Bitch... I just love the live version during this period...
Played JJ Flash loud on my stereo, my God, what a sound, they where the best Rockband ever!
Mick Taylor's guitar work is can't be touched. Seen him twice
My all time favorite rock band since the mid 70s when I started listening to music
all great but second half of heartbreaker is something else, and 24:00 on MT and Billy really kill it
I think Mick Taylor kind of forced Keith to up his game on guitar or be left in the dust.
No doubt at all. Keith grew his game tremendously during this period, which led him to sharpen his weaving when Ron came on the scene.Ron was ready for it. Guitar leapfrog...a singular method of communication.❤
Completely Agree
100%
9.05-10.05..... heaven on musical earth
Yet again, major props to Mick Taylor - with those amazing musical chops he was destined for bigger and better things, but helped the Stones while there. Peace - Deeve
You never disappoint brother...
A very good JJF . Still like the Circus one the best. Bills Bass does come through here. Taylor I suspect puts in s nice solo. You never know unless you see whos playing. Keith played alot of solos back then. Gimme Shelter OMG.
It's typical Taylor here.
Mick Taylor came to the Stones from John Mayalls band where he replaced Peter Green in 1968 (Clapton was wth Mayall prior to Cream) Peter Green went on to form Fleetwood Mac (the blues one) he wrote Black Magic Woman. lol hey we’re all great guitarists but I especially like Taylor. He really got them to a new level as a Rock band all the bands at the time 1969-72 had stellar lead guitarists it was sort of a pre requisit after the Groovy London sound Blackmore Page and Iommi too
Excellent music to pass out Halloween treats too.
@@Kleermaker1000 Just around midnight :)
Thanks Mick,and the boy's
What a version of Love in Vain, every version is so completely different, no two the same.
seen them in 69 at MSG some of this is from that. the place was jumping i could feel the floor moving.
Gimme Shelter with Mick Taylor belongs in the top 10 BEST rock songs in History…
Kleermaker 1000 sorry dum 🇩🇰 here but Music i can hear and understand. And thanks for the Music.
Kleermaker 1000 the specialis 69 until 1974. Yess mick taylor.
What a force with Mike Taylor ...WoW
Yeah! Mick & Mick never will be again
Holy feakin crap!!! Mick on Heartbreaker is so sick. Man he’s good.
GREAT SONG !!!!
All are excellent., but Mick Taylor is on fire !!!!
Fabulous!!!!! Thank you!!!
Sound quality unreal on this, can actually hear Bill!
I admire both Mick Taylor as well as Ronnie Wood, in my opinion they both deserve to be on Keith Richards' side and play guitar. Their style is completely different and both are great in their way, they should be both in the band, the 2012 recordings clearly show that. Instead of criticising Ronnie for not being Mick, ask the band to have both on board!
And Brian?
The bassist is superb
Lol.
Billy the Wobbler!))The King of Cool!😎😎😎😎
Can't get better ...thanks klerie
Keith & Mick T > bacon & eggs
Great work ❤
Great stuff!
Great soundquality, thank you !
dude this is awesome
Dancing with Mr. D….wt??? So good! I think that is Preston backing Jaggers vox. However, Mick Taylor took the Stones to just another level!!!
❤❤❤❤❤Danke fürs Senden Danke für die Performance ❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Waw kieermaker i hear and see now. Thanks. 🎉🇩🇰🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🇩🇰🎼🎼🎼🎼🇩🇰

Great time to be a
Teenàger😝🕶️✌🏻🫂❤️🔥🌪️🤘🏻
Taylor es definitivamente uno de los mejores guitarristas de la historia de el rock.
Wonderful Stray Cat Blues. Surprised they haven`t been cancelled for it though. Some of the best music is their live performances.
@@thekarmafarmer608 With Mick Taylor.
Dat is inderdaad een goeie lijst!
Собственно, Джагер мог бы и не стараться, потому что, когда начинает играть Мик Тейлор, все обращают внимание только на его гитару)
You don't find many live recordings of Heartbreaker, so it's super cool to find it! Very cool performance, still following the album version arrangement pretty closely, while setting itself apart.
so easy to hear how much Taylor would have changed Hacney Diamonds 😪
Mick Taylor é muito bom toca demais parabéns 👏👏👏
Thanks again... Sound is better.
