This song just reminds me how badly we need a NamJin (Namjoon&Jin) collab
I am 2013% here for that....
I've been saying this from the moment I discovered BTS and started going through their albums. A Namjin collab would be AMAZING. Jin's vocals has this unique quality that gives me chills and goosebumps in all of his songs along with his ability to inject his acting skills into his singing to really sell the emotion in such an amplified way. And Namjoon's flows, tone, delivery and poetry would be incredible to match it. Even if he chose to sing, his lower singing register has such an innocence and vulnerability to it that would work well with Jin. All of the members really do bring something special to the group. I feel like any pairing would be it's own flavour.
@ZariDV You are so right on all accounts and now that they are doing solo work in addition to hroup work I'm hopeful that we will get a tastecof more combinarions that don't typically show up on group albums especially since they have already shown that they are willing to collab with each other on solo projects

@@justlibby2142 I disagree, I don't see it that way. Some people who do reactions like to go into songs blind and then learn more from fans who know a lot more about the artist. I don't know if that's what he is doing, but I don't see anything wrong with learning as you go. I would agree with you if he didn't interact so much in the comments, but he does and it shows that he's genuinely interested and wants to see what people have to say, it builds community.

Airplane 2 is one of my favorite songs. I subscribed to your channel so I can enjoy your BTS reactions. Yes, as you listen to more of their songs, you will have to watch some of their game shows, vacations, concerts, and MAMA awards. You are correct, BTS keeps us connected with them. That is why I love them so much. You pegged each one of their personalities to a tea after you watch that documentary. Yes, Jimin (my bias) is the sweet one. However, those who are familiar with martial arts say Jimin can also be lethal; he can take you out. He can be dangerous. 🤣🤣Continue to enjoy BTS as you learn more about them. Still one of my Favorite BTS songs. I love it. JIN & RM's part is so good, & seeing them do this song Live is always amazing.(MAMA in Hong Kong 2018. with that intro!!)
Japanese tracks just hit differently. 'Lights', 'Let Go', 'Crystal Snow', 'Your Eyes Tell' & 'Film Out' are also great Japanese songs. .
'Airplane' is a J-HOPE solo song from his Mixtape album 'Hope World'. Great album. I would definitely recommend checking it out. The entire album, or just 'Airplane'.

@@TEEJ-9 If you're a 'whole album' type of guy, then please feel free to do album reactions. Just know that you might have to break the album reaction into parts to put them on YT. Maybe. I've seen reactors who can upload full album reactions & their fine, while others have to break them up to avoid being blocked. YT rules are not very consistent.
You can do them randomly(whichever you feel like doing) or go in release order.
Just know that this is only a suggestion, an option. However you decide to continue your Kpop journey (full albums or MV's), you're in for a great ride.
Mama Hong Kong 2018 was amazing.
Do not worry about listening to part 1 and part 2 titles in order. The songs are independent of each other. The distinction is to just differentiate between songs. Airplane pt2 is BTS' song that came after J-Hope's solo song Airplane from his mixtape. Suga/Agust D has a song "Set Me Free" from his second mix tape (released 2020) and Jimin has a same titled song (released 2023) that has a pt 2 added to the title. The songs are very different from each other. I recommend them, just to hear the diversity.

Yes and no.
The song was not made with part 1 in mind at all.
But than came the time to name the song and Jimin noticed that his song could be seen as a continuation of Yoongi's "Set Me Free".
I think there is a connection but the songs were not made with the connection in mind - the name connection came when the songs were in the endphase of completion and they needed to be named.

BTS has a habit of one of them creating a song on one of their solo albums/mix tapes and then another one will create another song on their own solo album/mix tape and name it **** Part 2. J-Hope's part in this song is actually a Japanese version of his verse in his song Airplane.

There's many BTS songs that has a part 2 or part 3 attacheed to it. You will be able to find part 1 or 2 of the song in one of the boys' solo songs, or in one of their albums. As for this song Airplane part 2, the part 1 (Airplane) is in Jhopes Solo Allbum, you can watch it on your own. Other Armies will help in pointing you to the right direction if you have questions.

And it seems to me the camera above the fan and their dancing makes the fan like the hands of a huge clock turning madly as they speak about their exhausting tours all over the world…
They use autotune sometimes. Not because they can't sing or because they want cover up things but because they like it and it sounds good. If you want to hear more of their pure voices (live), you should watch the BTS Tiny Desk performance or their cover (live) on 'I'll be missing you' from Puff Daddy or 'Fix you' from Coldplay.
There is also a korean version, and Airplane Pt1 is one of J Hope's solo tracks. His verse in the song is taken from Airplane Pt1 (translated to Japanese for this version
It's funny you mentioned RM and persona in the same sentence, he has a solo track on the BTS Map Of The Soul album called Persona. Check it out! There's an mv for it too.

As people have said there are a few part one and part twos in BTS catalog of songs. Often times they exist albums apart from each other and can be solos by different members or something. The songs are related in theme but do not necessarily sound alike.

You can always count on Suga (and Agust D) to deliver “truth bombs” out of the blue with scary accuracy. They land where they need to land. 😂 He’s unmatched at it.

BTS is infamously confusing about their song titles and use Part 2 of songs VERY loosely. More of an inspired by than a direct sequel. In this case JHopes rap is a sped up version of his rap in his solo song Airplane and carries some of the same ideas. But there are two RM songs Change (with Wale an absolute killer song) and Change Pt2 and two songs couldnt be more different. Set me Free by Suga an interlude song inspired Jimin to write Set Me Free pt 2. Anyhow they do this alot. They have a song from 2015 Run, a totally different song from 2022 Run BTS, their own variety show Run BTS and both songs have featured as theme songs on Run BTS. They do it so often they must love driving us crazy.

I know you have a gazillion songs to watch through, not just from them but from other groups. I don't tend to go through comment sections very much so I don't know if anybody has recommended this group to you, but If you haven't gotten their name yet, maybe look into Dreamcatcher. It's a seven member girl group that is severely underrated in my opinion. Boca is a pretty good song to start with. Also, Scream, Piri, and Maison.

I think I wrote when I asked for you to check this one out that when J-Hope is rapping on the counter, he’s saying the exact same lines as he did in his Airplane pt. 1 except it’s faster here. I love this song as a fun bop too! Are you going to get cinema tickets to Suga’s D-Day concert of his last show in Korea? Hmmm. This is one of my favorite BTS songs. Also, just so you know, J-Hope had a solo song called Airplane. This song took part of the beat or melody from that one and they did an OT7 song together. If there is ever a pt. 2, there is an original song that was done by one of the other members that inspired the pt. 2.

I have had a passion for anime since I was a teen and I am 38 now. I found Kpop through my introduction and passion for BTS in 2017. There is a lot of immense talent coming from Korea that matches and even exceeds many global artists. BTS has positively impacted a massive population globally. My passions are vast but a least a few mimic yours.

This song!! One of my Top 10 BTS songs all time. Love it. Lyrics, style, visual, flow changes. So much to love. The way it makes you smile would make RM smile. You mentioned the writing journal you had. Makes me think of the rappers when they started. Have you checked out Hip Hop Phile? They did that early 2013 or 2014. But check the lyrics in that too.
