Just some extra context - “Neuron” is the name of the street dance crew jhope was a part of growing up, before becoming a member of bts :) He has recently made a docu series focused on his dancing roots, and made an album to compliment the series, Neuron being the main track.
Hobi made the album & a docu series before he entered military, he went to back to his old days when he was a dancer in the group neuron, he called his old dance instructor Boogaloo Kin and asked him to go with him on this journey, they went to Osaka where he danced popping then met up with Lock Woong for locking last episode they were in Paris to do house dancing and next he will be on his way to NY to do hip hop the series is available on Amazon prime video and I am loving it, there is nothing Hobi can’t do

@@TEEJ-9 I highly recommend you watching it - you’ll see an interesting side of J Hope - Boogaloo Kin has some great conversations with Hobi - these boys have had it hard the last 10 yrs, while I hate that they had to do military service, I’m also glad that they get to take a much needed break away from music and the fame, just be a normal 20 something guy, they worked extremely hard since 2013 when they were just teenagers with little to no breaks - this is also why I love these guys so much, they do share their personal side to Army, not afraid to show their emotions or thoughts they’ve had or are currently think, I don’t know of another group with the fame BTS has giving so much love to their fans, and they even feel like we are more like partners, not just a fan. Namjoon once said to us ‘we’ll protect you like you protect us whatever may happen in the future’ they even credit us with more success than themselves and every award they win, they tell us that the award is for us. Jhope is a dancer to the core of his being, everything else is secondary.
JHope has an ongoing docu-series,in prime video, if you love dance you will definitely appreciate the series it features street dancing like popping, locking, house, hiphop and neuron.
The Album Hope on the street has 6 tracks with Neuron as the title track. All dances for the tracks are shown in the docu-sries. It is super lit, if you’re hype up on what you saw, you will be blown on what you will see on the docu.

Jhope is filled with a need to dance and he’s usually just pure happiness and joy. It shows in so much of what he foes and he’s truly our hope and sunshine. He returns in Oct!

J Hope shows so much joy and happiness when he dances. He is a great dancer, singer and all around artist. This is what his whole album was about . . . he wanted everyone to get up and dance! The "movie" of this song is really good.
I love so much elegance, energy, optimism, love and talent, both from Hobi and collaborating artists and the rest of the team.
This is exactly JHope's vibe and his whole album is like it. It's a great album and my favorite dance is in the 2nd episode of his Amazon Prime series 'Hope On The Street' and he is just SOOO good at hip hop dancing. I love watching him dance, as well as Jimin. Two different styles of dance and they're each joyfully beautiful when they're in their element. 💜
This video is actually is a compilation of scenes from his Docu-series Hope On the Street where he's exploring dance and diving back into his past where it all began for him which is street dancing. He also released an album with the same name, so do check it out because all the tracks are soooo good!!! Also you said something about J-cole being an inspiration, did you know J-hope has a song featuring J-cole? Its called On the street. If you want more J-hope you should react to it next.

after BTS found me, i felt inspired to make digital art eventhough i haven’t done it ever (even traditional drawing) i just like drew bits and pieces when i taught my kids. BTS are multi-talented individuals that you’ll be inspired to create art because they show you that you can do many things in life. their music connects people and makes you feel sonething, whether it’s comfort, understanding, self-love or empowerment.
Ahh, I love this "after BTS found me" you said. I've spent a good portion of my life drawing, so It's def something cool & peaceful to get into. Also. I love the fact that their works have these effects.
@@TEEJ-9 there's this saying with ARMYs that "BTS find you when you need them the most".. that's what happened to me, i got a glimpsed of them around 2015 but i guess it's not the right time back then. Then come 2021, during the darkest period of my life, Dynamite suddenly played on my son's online class and as they say the rest is history.
I met 7 talented humans that cared for their craft as well as their fans and the people around them. That's why a lot of people admire and love them. Their music truly touch lives and some like me, was saved through their music.
I am, since young, loves all sorts of music. I was exposed to a lot, grew up with diff artists, from Bon Jovi, U2, Frank Sinatra, MJ to Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, MCR, Eminem and boybands. Maybe that's why I loved BTS' music, coz they go beyond the typical pop songs. Yes they do pop but diff genres as well. And they connect people who don't know each other, we ARMYs love our interaction with the members as well as our interaction with fellow ARMYs. Last year a group of ARMY created a song as a gift for their 10th anniv, and several members, JK, Jimin & RM saw it.

Love how you vibed with this. His intent was to get back to his roots and see if that is still who he is and he discovered he is still so much about dance... that's who he is at his core. The docuseries on Amazon Prime Video (still dropping videos... 6 total I think and 4 are out now) have been so fun. His songs are so versatile on his own. His sunshine, up-tempo vibe on his Hope World album then his surprising darker vibe on Jack In the Box to his Dance vibe with Hope on the Street... no matter what the sound, always sending out positivity with his words and message. Love all these boys for how unique and versatile they are as individuals. Love all the sounds and styles they treat us to. But no comparison to how satisfying they are to watch and listen to when they are together as BTS. For Hope, you could check out Daydream and then Arson to get some of the style versatility. It's really hard to say this specific song is JHope style. He is Dance! 💯 But, much like BTS as a group, every mix tape/album he's done has been very different. I think songs like Arson and More are his big hits from last album so you should definitely do those MVs. Daydream and Airplane from the first mixtape come to mind. He's extremely versatile.

I want to say that this is Hobi's vibe, cheerful, easy to listen to, easy to dance to. Kinda like bubblegum rap if such a thing existed? The man really embodies a feeling for many of us, of course he's not always gonna be bright and sunshiny but that's who he is in his soul. 90s trippy hippy vibes.
You asked about hobbies, and I'm AuDHD so there is a bit of a list lol. I used to dance but I had to quit after I fractured a vertebrae and while I still danced for a while after that, the back problems kept getting worse. I love arts and crafts in general, and I've dabbled in acting and music. Mostly, I play video games.
I'm watching this video having just got home from a k-pop club and there was a guy who gave me some glowstick bracelets, he told me it was his first time there and it made me think of you, a fledgling K-pop stan 💜

I won't say Bubble gum rap, but I know what you mean. When people call a genre Bubble gum, it's normally meant as kinda silly and childish. Like Bubble gum pop music. I would maybe say he sings uplifting rap and even then, I won't box him as his past albums show his range 💜
@tonzyjc yeah, I didn't even think about it earlier (tired), but some could take bubblegum as derogatory. I think it's something to do with the idea that if you're cheerful, you must be naive or a child because a lot of us had adulthood beat all the happiness out of us. I don't think that demeanour means you're childish or lack substance, it takes a lot of strength to be a cheerful, bubbly person while going through the same things that make most people bitter.
But yeah, due to the aforementioned tiredness, I completely forgot where I was going with my comment because it was meant to be "I want to say this is Hobi's vibe.... but then you listen to Jack in the Box, and it's much darker."
Gaeko in Korean means 'dogs nose' slang term for 'it's nothing/not meaningful' Ole Korean Guy was suprised by the fact a Korean OG Rapper would use it for his stage name. Yoonmirae is Mix race Korean grew up in the USA with her military dad and South Korean mother then moved to South Korea she's quite famous and helped the SK government with mixed race children in SK. She's one the OG's of South Korean Hip Hop community and married to another of the SK Hip Hop OG's Tiger JK who RM has worked with.
