- Special thanks to our friend Mark for allowing us to film his Evo X. We use an Evo 9 for our camera car, but this was our first opportunity to drive its successor, and we were not disappointed. This X is proof that the final generation of Lancer Evolution is just as quick, precise, and awe-inspiring as it's predecessors.

Why does this video get about 50:50 likes dislikes? I like how they review the car, they have the owner get into the review of the car. It adds more characteristic to the car because I believe the car reflects the owner/driver from hew they actually build the car

They never really drove it.... took it through the neighborhood, got on the highway and talked more about the interior than the car. Hardly any shots of the engine bday. A weak review imo

Watching this video makes me miss my Evo X. Apex silver GSR with the aero package best combo ever. Wicked white is too common.
I don't think they know to much about these cars, but he is right the clutch is heavy and the gas is lights which make for a awkward take off if you're not used to it.
If im not mistaken, this is the same car thar just did well at Limerock! Nice to see its been with the channel for a while!
A good start, i would look at other car review channels for a bit of inspiration. Having two guys review the car is an interesting idea though. Usually its the owner + reviewer, this is double reviewer. Others on here say the dialogue is cringeworthy, but I think it is more in line with "One Takes" that Matt Farah does. Theyre candid and honest. Keep up with the formula guys, Im sure in no time your channel will explode.

+Gears and Gasoline I suggest doing a bit of research on the vehicle first. give more detail of what its like being in it and driving it. go over some of the features of the vehicle, tell us what you did and didn't like.
We'll take that into consideration and try to add some of that to our upcoming videos thanks! Can you watch our 2007 WRX review and tell us what you think? We're focusing more on the character of the car and what it means to the owner.
+Gears and Gasoline You guys need to actually drive the car and not like a bunch of pussies on a dealership test drive. Go to some turns, have someone stand outside to film and get some actual usable footage. This was a waste of time, all you did was a torture test to see when it makes full boost, pathetic.

In video games yes, in the real world the stock turbo in a evo runs out of power just before 6500rpm. You can see it clear as day on the dynograph.
I have the factory navigation on my 2008 and it's ok. It does the job.

There were a ton of options for fast sedans, you limited your choices to just Subaru or Evo lol. But respect to the build.. idk about the 2 guys after the intro though
Not many great performance sedans now a days. The best one is a charger SRT but those are all autos but i love manuals too much im too stubborn to walk away from a manual.

Evo's 10s had a DUAL clutch option? I knew they had an auto but i didn't know it was a dual clutch
And if you want to feel the 4b11 u want to hold a light 55 to 60 mph cruise and start droppin gears you should be able to hit second at or right below 60 glue it to the floor and if you are quick enough shift between .5 and 7.2 more towards 7.2 ... And always remember evos r designed to be ran like dogs and if u manage to hurt 1 fire your mechanic/tuner ... These cars r bulletproof

The 4b11 will do just fine with over 400hq of torque but I guess a conservative tune on an FP turbo is easy enough to do . Right on .

This wasn't a review... This was sitting in a car with 2 goofy guys that are B.S.ing with eachother. They didn't say anything informative about the car. The driver should be embarrassed for using the E-brake on the hill and for saying "like" more often than a teenage girl...
Look, I commend you for having your own car channel, but Watch some other legit car review channels. Like Matt Farah. Address the audience while sitting in the car and talk to the camera.. Increase your vocabulary. Research the car your going to review a lil more beforehand. Keep working at it and you'll get there. Good luck!
