Empty diffs and shocks, phillips hardware, combo ESC, tiny battery tray, and only 10th scale but advertised as 8th. Nope. No thanks Hosim. But...Thanks for yet another great video.
We have 4 hosims. A couple of them got messed up in the hurricane. Hes been trying to get some up and running before its to cold. He has been wanting this one. I was gonna try and get it for him when we get done with the clean up and our place is fixxed. Love the videos ty😊
They said the Vexaro was 1/8th scale as well, but it's a 1/10th scale RC. Reading the what's included section on the box states that its 1/10th scale. But I'll admit it, this thing rips, right outta the box. Don't stand behind it if you're slamming full throttle because it kicks up and flings a lot of dirt and rocks. IMO, its a nice RC for the price point.
From here that looks smaller than my 10th scale Redcat Valkyrie and it's really a 4s truck. I think one would be better off to spend an extra $50 for the Redcat.
I have never had an 1/8 scale truggy in my colllection, and it is truly my plan to finally get one for my next RC. I was thinking of springing for a Kraton 6S EXB. However, why spent $700 when I can check that box for only $250!!!!!!!!!!
@@RazorRC It sure is the cheapest out there! It makes it seem as though the folks at Team Corally are price gouging with their 1/8 scale $370 Syncro4, which by the way is only a buggy.
Check out the XLF F28, same car but cheaper (minor changes like skid protection in front bottom plate). Not sealed diffs så use 1/4 of a silicon ear plug in center diff and 1/6 in rear and front instead of diff oil. Needs 90 oil in shocks to be perfect :)
Any time they have a 2 in 1 system or a brushed motor in 2024 basher.....just boosting their profit margin to rip your ass off. Gotta eek out that last $20 from every sale. They cant even spend 5 cents to fill the shocks! Arrma & Traxxas are the kings of that ....they learned it from the Chinese! Nice review, Thanks
It looks like it's really a 1/10th scale car with a longer bumper and extended wing mount to stretch the length.. It has a combo receiver and ESC and they still can't fit a standard size battery, so that is pretty poor packaging. Even regular 1/10 scale cars can fit a standard battery. That car is a hard pass, but as always, we love the reviews!
@RazorRC I appreciate your comment. It does give some peace of mind. Also, you're right, it's not that big of a loss. If Hosim dropped me over a bit of honesty, maybe I'm better off without them then. I want to entertain viewers more than anything, but I certainly don't want to lie to them in order to do it. Big fan of your work BTW, I really appreciate hearing from you as well!
Nice I think the cheaper brands are making a good effort but still have some ways to go need better hardware and make the scale proper they should have just listed it as a 1/10 scale ....
I watched other reviews it’s not bad but don’t even bother before you put fluids in her . I don’t think there’s any fluid at all in the center diff . Maybe it has grease or 5 weight 😂

Thanks, yeah hex hardware and for sure some properly filled shocks would have been nice.

Nice run 👍
That is a nice spot bro. Great test area for a lot of different RC’s
Thanks, yeah I'm really lucky to have some nice bash spots around.
Aside from looking a bit fragile I thought it took a nice beating. Great video 💯
Thanks, yeah for light bashing it held up great.
Is it possible to replace the screws with hex hardware.

Haha, yeah more 1/10 than 1/8 IMO.
I guess Hosim is sending everyone one of these.

Truer words never spoken!
Justo get the Terminator?

Nice unboxing mate , seems to go alright ... Next bmx track test 🔥
Hahaha, not sure I'll make any more videos on the truck, but there was a quick look at it straight out of the box.
All screws, that’s insane.
Lipo charging bag?
🤷♂

Definitely a cost cutting measure, but they were aiming for a specific price point for sure.

I really hope you didn't spend your money on that.
I didn't buy it, but honestly I buy lots of products I wouldn't normally just to review and see what they're all about.
Hosim will never sponsor my channel again after my review of this car. They even asked me to take my video down. I didn't.
I'd like to see the e-mail they sent you! 😁 Anyway, no big loss, I've been making videos for 7 years and I think this is the first Hosim I reviewed.

Had an X07, garbage. Diffs were very weak, screws sucked, arms were junk servo was junk ESC quit after about 15 packs. Not a Hosim fan at all.
I'd pass, give your money to a decent company

I agree, shorten the bumper and wing, maybe shorten the wheelbase a tiny bit and sell it as a respectable 1/10.

Somebody forgot step 28 in the manual!
Junk!~
its 10th and its junk. I have not seen anyone that liked it. Not to mention it just looks ugly.
Bro it looks fragile!
Does it? I forgot to mention it's crazy light, not sure why. Maybe because the battery is so small and there is no receiver box.
The front bumper and overall design looks terrible.
1/8😂😂😂😂😂 lmao that 1 10
