Great video. I agree with your assessments. I like the weight horns going on like a J-cup. Can be used front or side. I also don't think the arms need to be so heavy either. Mine are from B.O.S. Light weight that I made fit my 3x3 rack. Mostly use them for belt squats. My 2 cents.
Can't wait to see what you come up with. You always come up with some amazing ideas. I currently have the discontinued Bells of Steel Hydra troller arms with your Gym-Pin Kaizen adapters and Taco handles. Overall it's a pretty amazing setup. I do agree the Taco handles need to be a little longer, maybe 50% and knurled would be amazing. I hope they offer upgrade handles for the current ones. The only issue with the BOS lockable positions is there are only 7 of them. When I added the Gym-Pin Kaizen adapters, they are tapered at the top so the top 3 holes can no longer lock the arms at different angles. It also eliminated one of the angles from the lower holes. I'm left with one hole for about 45 degrees, and one hole for straight out. It's not a huge deal because I can work around it by just moving the trolley arm height. I'm fine losing a few angles to pick up the ability to go left and right with them.
@@crandallfitness Yeah but the problem with your arms is the weight, even Matt mentions (twice) how heavy they are and even avoids certain exercises just so he doesn't have to go through the hassle of moving them.

I looked into using aluminum with a different company and it was going to be way more expensive than steel. With price being a huge factor for people, it didn’t seem like a good idea to pursue that option.
Thanks for the video. I've been dragging my feet for a long time on lever arms waiting for someone to get it perfect. Love your setup! My only issue is the Crandell arms seem to be the only on the market that can be setup to move in a fixed AND converging plane of motion. Not the be all end all, but it's one more functionality that seems like an awesome alternative to have if you're desiring to mimic machines as closely as possible. You are mistaken about the Crandall Fitness jammer arms, the arms don't move sideways, they rotate around the uprights, before the pivot point. Similar to Legend Fitness jammer arms. This allows to create a converging movement while keeping the arms fixed instead of free moving. No matter the position, the weight horn will always be horizontal, and the weights won't hit the uprights, but you also can't modify the width of the handles with that design. Yeah, I know. Piecing it all together is pricey. Fortunately for you, I’ve tried everything and have the ability to design something that accomplishes all of that at an affordable price point.
will your jammer arms be affordable having these features? do we have a price range? i feel that anything over 800 for jammer arms is just to much for 99% of people
We’re still in the design phase. The goal is to have all these features at a sub $1k price point. Obviously the less expensive the better but then you have to start compromising on features. It’s all about finding the right balance.
@@KaizenDIYGym I was thinking about a Swiss bar that doubles down as a pull up bar, the other day I saw someone using it that way, what r ur thoughts on this, I feel like u can make it happen😅 😅

Much appreciated. I went into this video knowing most people are already set on their opinions of jammer arms. I’m not expecting to change a lot of minds but I really love them. That’s the beauty of a home gym. You get to customize it to best fit your wants, needs, and training goals. I appreciate your support!
Please, add attachment, like for belt squat. Handle, hook, double weight horns and kick stand + increasing the lenght of the jammer arm. Easy to create, nobody did. I dont have any youtube chanel.to create the MrSartouBeltSquat
The weight pushes the arms inward. A weight horn will stop the weight from sliding off, but doesn’t help the imbalance. Side mounting weights also hit the upright, as I demonstrated in the video. Lastly, side mounting weights provide the worst resistance profile of all the mounting options.
Strange that it takes companies SO LONG to get designs of things like this correct. You will also make a MINT on these if you make them compatible somehow with all uprights out there too... from 3x3 to 2x2.
I think the people designing the equipment don't actually use it. They basically do the engineering, prototype, send it into production, and then move on to the next product. I'll see what I can do about cross compatibility. The first round will definitely be 3x3 and then we'll gauge interest in the other sizes.
@@KaizenDIYGym wouldn't 2 1/2" thick "c" adapters be the easiest fix for that? That really hard plastic that lines j hooks, turned into 2 halves of a sleeve that wrap around a 2" rack to make ot a nice snug 3"? Just brainstorming. Thinking you would capture all the Force/Major Fitness/Jacked Up/ and Amazon rack clientele with that.
im really intrigued to know how guys like you handle the matter of revealing your idea to the world before copyrighting patenting trademarking (im not sure of the right term), or is it pointless to even try with so much competition able to build and market similar products and release to the market so quickly. Btw not tryna stir up the prx thing just curious to know your mindset regarding protecting your ideas vs spreading the word. thanks again great video
I don't do any patents or trademarks. That stuff is too expensive. Any time I post something I run the risk of being ripped off. I've significantly slowed down on posting my ideas online for that reason and now I just go straight to the companies I want to work with.
In my opinion jammer arms should be easily removable, like the ATX® Jammer Arm / Lever Arms Curved 30 / 50 - Series 600 - 700 - 800. A heavy trolley is not the way to go. Removeable handles to fit your need is cool.
That works for small lightweight arms. Heavy, full sized arms are too heavy and bulky to ever be easily removable. I am open to the idea but haven’t seen anything close.
@@KaizenDIYGym You’re welcome Bro , it’s great for our home gym community to have a good man like you with great innovation and ideas, keep it coming my Bro .
That works for some people but it’s definitely not a one size fits all solution. Nothing is really. It’s all a matter of preference, available space, and budget.
I hate that everyone is stuck on the “3x3 upright” design for jammer arms. Even if they’re attached to a 3x3” rack, there is zero reason whatsoever that the jammer arm should also be 3x3. Racks are supposed to be extremely heavy and stable, and never move. Why on earth would they have the same design when racks and arms have polar opposite functions!?! ALL jammer arms should use the absolute least amount of metal/weight possible. They don’t need to be rated to 1000lbs. My ideal jammer arm is something like putting a Bulletproof VTS on a Crandall Fitness jammer arm, and attaching it to an inbuilt cable system like the Ares (except the jammer arm would be 1x1” or 2x2”, and everything would be miniaturized to fit) That would replicate linear pressing and pulling machines in any direction via the rollers + cables, and lever machines via the arm joints. Would even still be a fully usable Smith machine, since no one ever uses the full length of a smith in one motion anyway. You’d have to replace the VTS’s safety hooks with a pop pin style safety system since the arms may not always be pointing up and down while in use, but this would open up some pretty cool options, like using the lever arms while the VTS style rollers are freely moving so you don’t get the “arc” of a typical lever arm path
I agree with some of the points you’re making, but I disagree that there is zero reason to use a 3x3 tube. The main benefit is that 3x3 arms can be used as a normal upright when not being used as a jammer arm. It can take 3x3 attachments - and that can potentially add more functionality. I agree that weight is the biggest issue. At one point I was talking to a company about making the arms out of 3x3 aluminum but it proved to be cost prohibitive.
It's more than paying for the patent. You also have to defend the patent. If someone copies you after the patent you have to take them to court and fight. If you say ah hell I'll give them a pass then you can void your patent. Being a small business and having to fight someone big can be an astronomical expense that will destroy you. It's sad but it's life
these are a great idea. But what about those of us who don’t have money pouring out our pockets, or an engineering degree, or corporate sponsors all over the place?
I am working on an affordable option with GymPin that should be in the sub $1k price range. There are $200 options on Amazon as well. The used marketplace is a great place to look too. There are jammer arms for all budgets!

That's some awesome news man, I was recently looking for some lever arms but the current options are kinda meh. I'm definitely gonna wait for yours. Is the unnamed US company shipping to Canada ?
I hope so. I’m actually not sure about the distribution channel
Would you mind improving the Freak Athlete Nordic Pro? In my opinion it has a lot of potential, but - just as the jammer arms - is not perfect yet.
If they want my help, I’d be happy to get one in and tweak it.
Maybe they can eliminate the weight horn altogether and pair it with a high or low cable pulley option
It’s definitely something we’re exploring
Matt pendergraph did that with ours on an ares setup
What weight horns are you using in your setup?
Maumi Weight Horns: amzn.to/3HxNnaO
Still waiting for a company to to design arms that work with or don't interfere with a trolley/cable system such as the Ares 2.0.
Our patent has been approved.
That’s awesome. Congrats! I’m curious to see what the patent covers. Will it stifle innovation within the community or encourage partnerships?
I’m looking forward to seeing how this unfolds.
I love the idea of jammer arms. But I feel they don’t offer much resistance. Especially ones with longer arms
Front mounted with plate spacers works pretty well. You'll have to feel it for yourself.
I am about to buy a lever arm please give some feedback about when yours might be available!
I am realistically thinking 6-8 months
@@KaizenDIYGymAwesome Frankenbuild!!You definitely nailed it.I have a Rogue Monster Lite rack 5/8 holes.I’m purchasing the RML LT-1 50 cal Trolley 2.0 Levers. Can can you advise specific components to complete a build depicted in this video?
How long will we have to wait for the most perfect Jammer Arms? I would love to have a pair of these Jammer Arms no longer than 38inches so they can fit on the inside of my 41inch rack.
Hard to say. We’re in the design phase now. Hoping to start prototyping soon.
Love the content man!
If someone wanted to emulate what your doing by Frankensteining different brands together, it comes to the realm of $1250-1350 before taxes or shipping fees (Titan T 3 + vendetta + Kaizen adapters+ mutant metal handles + weight horns)
I definitely understand if your collaboration ends up being similarly priced, but from a wallet standpoint I am hopeful that it doesn't lol
Excited to see what you guys come up with, keep it up!
Thank you!
For the price, we’re aiming for less than $1k while keeping all of those features.

Did I miss anything Oh yeah articulating handles!!
It’s all about finding the right balance.
any updates to the new arms?
Currently prototyping
Wow LOVE UR WORK❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much 😀
@@KaizenDIYGym I was thinking about a Swiss bar that doubles down as a pull up bar, the other day I saw someone using it that way, what r ur thoughts on this, I feel like u can make it happen😅 😅
any new info on the ultimate jammer arms?!?!?
They’re being prototyped right now
@KaizenDIYGym amazing! Looking forward to them! Potential timeline?!
I watched this whole video and thought to myself "... Yeah, still not sold on Jammer arms 🤔"
But the handles look cool and as always I wish you and your partners only success.
Much appreciated. I went into this video knowing most people are already set on their opinions of jammer arms. I’m not expecting to change a lot of minds but I really love them.
That’s the beauty of a home gym. You get to customize it to best fit your wants, needs, and training goals.
I appreciate your support!
Hope to jebus it's rep fitness as they are also available for the rest of the world
I cannot confirm or deny these allegations
@@KaizenDIYGym fingers crossed 🤞
Thought it would be fringe sport given the t shirt with the statement
@tringo8420 good for America if that is the case. Europe will be left behind again.. ugh
You're like the Tony Stark of gym equipment.
That’s a high honor, thanks!
@@KaizenDIYGym you're welcome, keep up the good work!
yes please
Heck yeah!
Please, add attachment, like for belt squat.
Handle, hook, double weight horns and kick stand + increasing the lenght of the jammer arm.
Easy to create, nobody did.
I dont have any youtube chanel.to create the MrSartouBeltSquat
Great suggestion!
Can't believe nobody has made the perfect jammer arm yet, come on man...
I don’t think the people designing jammer arms actually use them.
Any update on these?
Just received the first prototypes. They’re looking pretty slick.
@@KaizenDIYGym can't wait! I'm probably buying them ASAP
Why does it matter if the weight horns are side mounted if you can just use collars?
Can i get one for 70×70×3 atx rack ..?
I’ll need to work with ATX to make a version specifically for their racks
im really intrigued to know how guys like you handle the matter of revealing your idea to the world before copyrighting patenting trademarking (im not sure of the right term), or is it pointless to even try with so much competition able to build and market similar products and release to the market so quickly.
@@KaizenDIYGym thanks for gettin back to me man appreciate the insight. keep doin you, peace
Ours don't hit the uprights as the horn extends past the upright
You should Patent this idea and call them…. The Frankenstein Arms!
I really like the name!
@@KaizenDIYGym or maybe the Kaizen Frankin Arms
In my opinion jammer arms should be easily removable, like the ATX® Jammer Arm / Lever Arms Curved 30 / 50 - Series 600 - 700 - 800. A heavy trolley is not the way to go. Removeable handles to fit your need is cool.
That works for small lightweight arms. Heavy, full sized arms are too heavy and bulky to ever be easily removable.
I am open to the idea but haven’t seen anything close.
@@KaizenDIYGym yes sir, but why do really need a heavy bulky arm? The ATX can hold 250kg pr. pair - that is enough for most tasks.
Yeah but gym pin service is horrible order the adapter. N never received the item so sad was looking forward on using then
What about the Kaiser arms dude ? Lol😂
I do love that name bro
@@KaizenDIYGym You’re welcome Bro , it’s great for our home gym community to have a good man like you with great innovation and ideas, keep it coming my Bro .
Gymnastic rings allow for all the movement you want, you just have to get creative with your angles. These are cool, but the pricing is nuts.
That works for some people but it’s definitely not a one size fits all solution. Nothing is really. It’s all a matter of preference, available space, and budget.
If the Jammer arms can belt squat then I’m done. No more buying gear
They can!
@@KaizenDIYGym as long ad its king enough.
Ours do
The prices on some of these are just ridiculous. Cost as much as a whole quality rack
Looking to remedy that with my upcoming ultimate jammer collab
@@KaizenDIYGym Hopefully you succeed cause there's definitely a lot of hogwash out there! Any ETA? 6 months or so?
I hate that everyone is stuck on the “3x3 upright” design for jammer arms.
Even if they’re attached to a 3x3” rack, there is zero reason whatsoever that the jammer arm should also be 3x3.
Racks are supposed to be extremely heavy and stable, and never move. Why on earth would they have the same design when racks and arms have polar opposite functions!?!
ALL jammer arms should use the absolute least amount of metal/weight possible. They don’t need to be rated to 1000lbs.
My ideal jammer arm is something like putting a Bulletproof VTS on a Crandall Fitness jammer arm, and attaching it to an inbuilt cable system like the Ares (except the jammer arm would be 1x1” or 2x2”, and everything would be miniaturized to fit)
That would replicate linear pressing and pulling machines in any direction via the rollers + cables, and lever machines via the arm joints.
Yeah if only they weren't going to be $1,000 or more. Who has $1,000 or more just laying around these days. But it is a great idea
The plan is to keep the price point at less than $1k
@KaizenDIYGym I'm in the market for jammer arms, what type of timeframe are you looking at? Close to now? Months? Year or 2?
@@KaizenDIYGym 👍🏻
Ours are less
I am not a fan of things that are getting heavier when muscle contracts.
Totally. Some people enjoy jammer arms and some people don’t.
bro. pay for the patent so no one can copy you.
patents are like $10k
It’s not really a patentable idea
It's more than paying for the patent. You also have to defend the patent. If someone copies you after the patent you have to take them to court and fight. If you say ah hell I'll give them a pass then you can void your patent. Being a small business and having to fight someone big can be an astronomical expense that will destroy you. It's sad but it's life
Jammer arms seem cool in theory, but the setup time and price doesn't seem worth it.
I feel like you can do pretty much all the movement you would normally use jammer arms for with just dumbbells while having a better ROM.
Totally, people either love them or they hate them. I think they’re great.
Someone should just copy pro's design since they stole thier design
Way way way to much money
Thanks for sharing your opinion. There are $121 jammer arms on Amazon: amzn.to/3AZAA0C
these are a great idea. But what about those of us who don’t have money pouring out our pockets, or an engineering degree, or corporate sponsors all over the place?
Then you can't buy them. It's not a necessity.
I am working on an affordable option with GymPin that should be in the sub $1k price range. There are $200 options on Amazon as well. The used marketplace is a great place to look too.
There are jammer arms for all budgets!
