  • Check out the Suckit Dust Boot as a great accessory for CNC dust collection. I am a beginner CNC woodworker/operator and am using this video to share with you some tips that I picked up as I set-up my Suckit Dust Boot for the Onefinity Woodworker. The Suckit Dust Boot is a great add-on for helping contain dust and redirect it to your suction above.
    This machine was given to me by Onefinity CNC and is a refurbished model. Thanks, Onefinity!
    You can check out an official full assembly video of the CNC on the @onefinity UA-cam channel or check out their website at www.onefinitycnc.com to check out the machines!

    Perfect!
    Not sure how you got lucky enough to not struggle for like 10 min to get the brush in the channel 😡🤦🏻‍♂️
    I ended up taking a tiny bit of 3 in 1 oil to lube up the brush so it would slide in better. That was probably the most frustrating part of the whole CNC build lol

      Wow! Seriously?! I just got the very end in first and worked it in. Mike from Broken Lead Woodworks said he had a really hard time too.

    Now what size hose connector does one use?

    • @OakHillMillworks
      @OakHillMillworks  3 місяці тому

      Ya know that’s the trickiest part! I bought so many different connectors until I could find one that fits. The one I ended up with was a connector from a ridgid hose set. I am out of town and can’t tell you the exact size.

    I will be using a 4-inch dust collection hose, is there an adapter to attach it to the Suckit dust boot?

    • @OakHillMillworks
      @OakHillMillworks  2 роки тому

      I’m not sure about that. I have since discontinued using the suck it dust boot because it became tedious to adjust its height manually. I ordered one from Etsy that attaches to the router body itself so it is going up and down automatically.

      @@OakHillMillworks what the hell? Z-independent shoes are supposed to be better than the ones mounted on the spindle.

      @@alejandroperez5368 🤷🏻‍♀️ I hated the suckit. I’m not sure I have the best one available now but I like it a lot more.
