We are headed to Rhodes in 2 weeks and this is by far one of the best videos I’ve watched so far. Love all the information and it feels like such a nice gentle walk with you both. Will now watch your other Rhodes vlogs! Thanks for making them!
Thank you so much for your comment David. I'm really happy that you loved the video. Just in case you haven't seen already, there's a few videos I made on Rhodes including: a Beginners Guide, and a walks on two beaches. Also, I will be putting the first of three complete guide to beaches beginning in about 10 days. Thanks again for your comment, I really appreciate the support. And have a great time on Rhodes in two weeks.
@@GoExploreGreece if you get to try the Gyros and hospitality at Etsia then do so it’s simple good honest Greek. From the Square (Big Tree) walk into Village it’s directly in front of you before turning left.
Thanks for your great comment. Just popped over to your channel and I love the way you talk to the camera. This is something I'll be including more of. Thanks again. 👍
@@GoExploreGreece Thanks so much - it's something I have had to work on and still not 100% comfortable, it just becomes a bit easier as the confidence comes

@@GoExploreGreece exactly, I'll watch some more of your videos over the weekend. My wife loves Greece too so we will enjoy together! I have my trip to Symi going online tomorrow afternoon
Hi, a couple of questions . What time would you advise to get there for the evening. We like a walk and a few drinks before having a meal. And are taxis easy to get back to pefkos. Thanks for a great video😊
Thanks for liking the video. In terms of your question's I would say 7pm onwards for a bite to eat and drink. As for taxis, it really depends on time of year, as they are not always around, but the square I showed do have them. My advice would be to ask your hotel if your staying in one and/or book one for the return journey. Hope that helps. Ian
I based my sailboat in Lindos in the 1980s when it was unspoilt. 2 members of the Pink Floyd had houses there and came sailing with us. In August Italians flocked to the village for the annual backgammon competition held at Socrates Bar. I think I would hate the place now it has been "discovered"
Stephen, thanks for this comment. Yes you are absolutely right that you may not enjoy it now. But, I'm so impressed and sort of jealous of your sailing escapades, and meeting two of Pink Floyd.
Beautiful place love lindos ❤
It certainly is 😀
Enjoyed your vlog. Will be here in 2 weeks and will look at your recommendations. Grateful Welsh Lady 🏴 x
Angela, I'm happy you enjoyed the video. If you have any questions, just ask. Have a lovely time there. 😀👍

Thank you for great video. Having spent over 20years visiting it’s amazing knowing it’s not changed too much.
Jeff, I'm really glad you like the video. It's amazing that in many ways the place hasn't really changed that much over the years.

Thanks for the tip Jeff. I really love traditional Gyros. I've made a note of them: maps.app.goo.gl/YMysgNSDcSzhsAAK8

I feel exactly the same. As someone who is a big introvert it's been extremely difficult. But, each time it gets a little easier.
