I really enjoy you with AWATP, Paul. I sit here in my comfy chair and crochet while I listen to you. One of my seed orders for next season came in this past week. And I have to redo some of my raised beds, so I have been pricing out changes I hope to make. I worked on houseplants also -- splitting plants, repotting, and cleaning up to keep them happy. My Christmas cactus starts are still alive. My bigger Christmas cactus was root bound, so that was split into two -- so I got a freebie there, while I wait on my starts. And it's nice watching you while I wait out the cold until spring.
Thank you, and I'd be interested to know the costs of a raised bed if you are willing to share. 👍 From scratch, we have said to the paddock plotters that a 2m by 2m bed is about £100-150 depending upon whether they find wood/edging in skips or not, and the type of compost bought. 🤔 Great news on splitting the Christmas Cactus. 👏 I have been thinking of making changes to AWATP - uploading each segment rather than the whole week in one go... what do you think? 🤔
I went to my ploy on 24th for Brussels & carrots, going back today for our new year dinner, you might be better growing your broad beans in modules first, have a good new year & here’s hoping for a better spring 👍
I do mention that another plotter does that Linda, and as we've had so much damage I will likely be doing that next year... if I am still at the plot. 👍😊👍
Lovely to see this tonight after days of being run ragged by my 2 tiny grandsons…… I’m in Tunbridge Wells and it’s been fanatic but now I’m ready to go get home to my own bed and the comfort of my own home ….I have gift’s waiting there for me too so look forward to opening them and thanking my friends… so I will be back on the dreaded M25 in the morning where hopefully it won’t be too busy! I hope you had a good Christmas and Happy New Year to you both and I hope 2025 brings us all some peace …. Thank you Paul 😊
I don't know Tunbridge Wells too well, though did do the PR for the switching on of the main shopping centres lights a decade or so ago... and used to live in Oxted in my early tewnties so not too far away. 😊 Glad you had a great time, though fully appreciate the desire to get back to one's own bed! 👍😊👍
Good to see you being busy on your plot. I must do some jobs in my veg garden. I don't use cardboard to cover my beds as they tend to go moldy. I just cover with net, mainly to keep my cat off 🤨.
Six magpies for gold! Let's hope you win some money Paul!! The chilli powder seems to be keeping my rodents at bay. Worth a try. Also as the bulbs are coming through sprinkling around them too.
Ah yes, six magpies indeed... there seems to be a proliferation of them at the moment. 👍🤗👍 I bought some red lentils the other day, so maybe that's the gold! 😁
I seem to remember we had some mice damage, though nowhere near the extent of this year, which is why I did not thinking of doing them a different way to my usual. 👍😊👍 Last year the damage was done more by them being burnt by the weather we had. 🙄
Well done Paul therapeutic listening and watching, better new days coming🎉❤
So glad you found this so Anna. 👍🤗👍
Best wishes for 2025 Paul! ❤ New round of new opportunities..🍀
Indeedy... 🤞
The cleared paths look great, Paul. Hope you and Richard have a happy New Year
Thanks muchly - I am pleased they are clearer. 👍😊👍
Thanks Paul, a great update! Happy New Year to you and Richard too 🎉
Thank you. 👍😊👍
thanks Paul for the garden update😊
Thank you. 👍😊👍

@paulsavident I could watch each segment on PV but, I like how you are currently doing it on UA-cam. But, you do what works best for you.
@@witsonsmom729 many thanks for the feedback - it's much appreciated. 👍👍👍
Happy blessed new year 🎉
Thank you - and hope you have a good year too. 👍😊👍
Have a nice celebration 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you, and hope you did too. 👍😊👍
mice know where to find their food, with all the gardens around you I'm surprised there are not more little critters, Happy New Year to you and yours
As I say, I think the foxes have usually kept on top of the mice numbers, though with the foxes being around less... ☹
Just adore all this birdsong in the background! In the middle of the winter! Envious.
Indeedy, the birds are alive and well... and chirping away! 😁

I put vicks vapour rub mixed with petroleum jelly along the wood lining me vege bed. Seasons greetings from NZ.
Good idea, and used to do that when collecting slugs in a plastic pot to stop them crawling out. 👍😊👍
Can't wait to get my new allotment in some sort of shape 😊
Six f’ gold woohoo. ✌️❤️
Yay... and fingers crossed! 🤞
Good video
Thanks Caroline, and hope Ernie is home and on the mend. 👍👍
Haven't been up to my plot for a week, going to pop up tomorrow and get weeding as forecast is for a cold spell.
Indeedy, we have a cold spell on the way here... though bright sunshine here today. 👍😊👍
Happy New yrar.
Year
Thanks Karin, and to you and yours. 👍
I thought you had mice damage last year on your broadbeans , l may be wrong 😢
