CLEAN VERSION: • Dance of the Knights b...
    Track 3 of Shitscores, Vol. 2: distrokid.com/hyperfollow/mag...
Original song: Romeo and Juliet, Op 64 - Act I, No 13 (Dance of the Knights) by Sergei Prokofiev.
This shitscore was made with MuseScore 4, GIMP, and Adobe Premiere Pro. You can download and experiment with it on MuseScore, although sometimes a subscription is required for downloading, which is beyond my control. Buuuut, I found a workaround: you can download it through this Google Drive I created!

[0:17] This song is actually fire🔥
[0:25] This may or may not be based on myself.
    [0:28] Pass the screech
    [0:32] Sight-reading during the concert
[0:39] I've done this a few times and I don't even have ADHD
    [0:48] I'm gonna show off
    [0:51] Oh.

[0:56] It's always sunny in the brass section
    [1:06] Ok anyways
    [1:13] nice one strings

    [1:20] Imperial Dance?
[1:30] hooks trumpet to a guitar amp

[1:51] i woke up and these were all on the score
[2:01] You just lost the game.
[2:09] Go get a drink or something this part is boring.
[2:15] Dang how long is this video
[2:21] At least they're too loud and not the usual too quiet
[2:25] I condensed like 3 violin parts into 1 so this may be my fault.
    [2:32] OVERCONFIDENCE
[2:35] If you're still getting that drink don't worry there's still time.
[2:44] can't believe he would say that fr fr
[2:53] don't wat anyone hearing my controversial opinions, ya know?
[2:59] Alright, you can come back from your drink now.
[3:03] I'm sure you know someone like this
[3:07] you ritardando (ok that's too far)
[3:13] If it's in your right ear, your headphones are backwards.
    [3:23] WE'RE ONLY HALFWAY?!??!!?!?
[3:26] Go get some popcorn this time.
[3:29] a woodwind player walks into the percussion room
    [3:43] gimme that glissy
[3:53] I spared y'all by putting it in mezzo piano, just know that.
    [4:03] The echo goes crazy
[4:08] I spent like 30 minutes transcribing this baby
    [4:18] ㅤ??ㅤ
    [4:24] P A U S E
[4:33] Did this with a cymbal once.
[4:35] I mean, it's pretty accurate to real percussionists.
    [4:45] 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟𝐟
[4:50] You could've just shook them awake.
[5:00] Don't tell me you haven't done this.
    [5:10] slides chair obnoxiously
[5:13] I asked for "audience cheering sound effect"
[5:18] OH MY GOD A SAXOPHONE
[5:23] This has actually happened to someone I know before.
    [5:32] The golden time ratio
[5:34] I crashed MuseScore several times trying to get this to work.
[5:39] I've made enough fun of spit valves, it's reed time.
    [5:50] MUSESCORE TRUMPET EXPLOSION
    [5:54] 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥.
    [5:56] UNLEASH HELL
[6:01] Song is over you can click off now.
[6:08] This ending isn't important you can leave.
[6:14] Seriously, it just gets worse from here.
[6:18] Ok you asked for it
    [6:33] video end
    [6:35] ℙ𝕀ℙ𝔼
"Shitscores" are shitposts that take classical music and make horrible-sounding versions. The genre was originally popularized by Parker Meek, and many others have written their own shitscores, but typically they only include a few instruments. I decided to put my own spin on it by orchestrating an entire full orchestra version of a shitscore with some extra video editing to polish it even more. "This is Halloween except it's terrifyingly horrible" was one of my first big hits. (Hopefully that's enough keywords for the algorithm lol)

As a tuba player, “so anyways I started brassin’” is pretty accurate to the tuba attitude if you tell them to play loudly. Many of us (or at least me) will play at a relatively calm volume, but if you say “be loud!” you will die from your eardrums exploding. And god forbid you ask a GROUP of tubas to play as loud as they can. It’s so intense, even the tubas playing will go deaf. I still remember the incident…8 tubas, blasting in an echoing room…oh god the slaughter, the massacre that occurred…

the percussion stuff was pretty accurate (mostly the forgetting music binder and the triangle being off. for whatever reason there was this one kid in band who *really* wanted to be there but they had so little rhythm they couldn't play a triangle in time for 2 notes)
also everyone jumping in for the imperial march was stupid accurate because there have been numerous times we were all warming up and someone started playing a meme song and/or the lick and at least 2/3s of the band has jumped in by the third or fourth note

-a percussionist who learned more in one summer from her brothers than a year of normal band class in which she had to stop multiple people from putting stuff on the timpani, touching expensive wooden bats with their hands, and slamming the snare with their hands. I was once a timpanist in a performance of Mozart’s Serenada Notturna, which periodically cuts out so soloists (including timpani) can play, and all the violins and cellists etc were playing popular Mozart melodies for their solos, so I decided to arrange Mozart’s symphony 40 1 tune to timpani… but just on the two notes and playing the rhythm.
Another fun trick you can do with timpani is put a crotale on the middle of a small timpani head, strike it with a hard mallet, and waver the timp pitch up and down, it’s a very cool effect.

Or in my case the percussion section didn’t have a full set of timpani drums (two were broken beyond use). One of the songs we had called for more notes than what was available. So my friend had to try and tune the drum in the middle of the song using the pedal which was also broken. Good times.

As a flautist with severe adhd, the flute jokes are absolutely on point. Especially the forgetting changes in the music and playing the wrong parts too loud because we keep swapping on and off the melody and get confused.
I also have to give credit to the sudden trills, forgetting sheet music and sudden ridiculously high notes that may or may not be our fault.

We would have 1 band rehersal and 1 dress rehearsal - no stopping unless some went badly wrong, then it was the first night performance. Halfway through the week I noticed the guitar player was STILL writing his music as he worked out what to play. He had a copy of the piano score FFS and he still didn't know what to put in....
