Certainly are loads of cowboys. I just do everything myself now as I have not had a good experience from any UK company. Some have damaged my car and at points almost ended in court. Badger is good and also Gonzo in the US. Stick with either of them and you should be okay. Doing lots of logs is a good thing to hear especially as it gets hot over there. Don't want your engine detonating as soon at as the weather gets hot
That's good about the Maestro 7 software. I was a little wary about mapping it by myself, so ended up giving Bill a call at Badger 5, been happy with the performance and communication so far. Definitely seems a top guy unlike some of the other cowboys I have dealt with back there. I seem to be doing a lot of logging for this map so I am pretty certain that there is a reason, and can see the progress with every map I upload.
Yeah there is probably around 300-500rpm more lag I would say with this turbo, but we'll see how the mapping comes along. The turbo does hold boost very very solidly in comparison to the 5857 (still have this) which started to run out of puff at the top end. Had it holding rock solid to 8000 (haven't pushed any further than that). The Regal map was sh!t and dangerous so now on Maestro which is giving me more flexibility and much steadier fuelling.
I will be tweaking the timing and tuning in with meth shortly and see if I can get some idea of numbers. Will be at Santa pod in March so there should be some vids there without speed limits. :D
Totally, I have gone a bit over over the top with cooling, with a larger radiator, oil cooler and all sorts, right now at cruising she sits at about 83/84c. However the weather right now is peaking about 22c. Btw are you still running a stock 3 bar FPR?
Nice Frase, When did you move to a 6262? definitely lots more lag, however still looks like you are at the beginning stage of your mapping process. Cant wait to see her on a road with less traffic, and less speed limits. :)
Frase I have a little question for you...seems daft, but are you running an Oil Inlet Restrictor, if so what size? I think my turbo is leaking oil already. :(

I have a 13 row mocal oil cooler. Nothing stock on the car - I run a Fuelab FPR in gold

i want this in my life how much was this turbo?
Tune just about complete. Full boost is at 4500rpm Craig so actually better than the 5857
Precision don't need a restrictor - Are you running the 5858? I just have a inline filter but not a restrictor
What site did you get the 6262 from
Whats the a/r on Ur turbo? and how's it compare to the 5858?
Frase2901 what is your exhuast manifold ??
Same what I wanna know
