At 1:24 u can perfectly see that he is not drifting at all. He just turned in with a little oversteer into a slip angle. After that he just straigheing his Wheels and steps on the Gas to stay that way and no further steering is needed. Thats called naturaly steering and the car is pulling it self through that left turn

the gt86 is not old by any means in mf ghost. its backdraw is that its underpowered and is in a almost entirely different class compared to all the other cars.

@@ITSMRFOXY considering the cars are all ones we see nowadays, latest it could be would be around 2025 maybe 2027 at the latest, even then, the GT86 is a 2012 to present day(at least 2024) car in when its been produced, the technology in cars in its class has not changed too much in the last 10 years, we had our biggest jump in car tech from the late late 80s to mid 90s, then from the early 2000s to the mid 2010's. and now were sort of dipping into maybe another little jump in what we do with our car tech and how advanced it is. Point is, the GT86 is NOT that old by any means in the anime, neither is its technology, plus the civic here would most likely be an FL5 rather than FK8 if it were later than 2024. in initial d, it takes place in the middle late 90s to early 2000s, takumis toyota ae86 is from 1983. which is stupidly old compared to the rest of the cars such as the s2000 and the R34 and satoshis roadster. in mf ghost, the toyota GT86 is most likely still in production or just getting finished with production because the GR86 has been out long enough. The GT86 in any 202x year is not that old especially considering what was aforementioned regarding jumps in car technology.

I know many people say that MF Ghost is too unrealistic compared to Initial D, and that Kanata is a scam and that it would never work with a Toyota 86, but if the AI drives the course according to the actual Toyota 86 based on the anime, I think it would be at least a little more realistic.
