Absolutely clueless. She thinks that a mini has more leg room than an a1 and that an Audi is a noisy drive. very poor judgement
I wish car manufacturers would stop using that horrible shiny black plastic on the interiors. It only looks good once it's cleaned, but 10 minutes after it's covered in finger prints and dust.
The Mini Cooper D was certainly not high on my shortlist, it may be a great car, but everyone seems to have a Mini, they are so common that they have lost that exclusiveness they had several years ago.
The Mini is well built, it should be, as its owned by BMW, yet some of the interior plastics are not that brilliant, neither is the rear visibility.
The Audi on the other hand is impeccably built, even better than the Mini, and the interior trim and plastics are as good as a BMW 3series, incredibly well put together.
The Audi is becoming more popular as people realise how good a car it is, but that options list is enough to break the bank.
The Mini is no longer exclusive, the market is flooded with them.
The Audi still has the upmarket image associated with larger Audis.
Ive just spent £22K on a new 1.6TDi S , worth every penny.
You get Bluetooth, air con, radio all as standard in the a1 as well so how is the mini better equipped

mini has been using the same shitty 189hp engine since the birth of christ, seriously its a joke. DS3 for fun, A1 for refinement.
Audi is plain and boring inside and out.
The A1 is a 2010 model. The MINI is 2014 with engines built by BMW.

Why do none of the reviewers ever mention that VW group 1.6tdi is a 5 speed manual! For me that's a no no
6 speed can b a draw back on small engines ,overdrive 6 th is to high geared around 40 mph 5th is to low,were as a standard 5 speed is better being not so high geared can generally pull top gear at 40 mph

Mini by far is the best, Audi A1 is just a very exspensive Skoda Fabia & the DS3 I've never really liked, the only good is the Ds3 Racing

What's the point of 16 choices of suspension on a MINI??
Why not a standard go kart feel thats still comfortable?
Come on BMW, is that so hard?? Too much choice, and no, a mini shouldnt have a diesel,
and the Citroen well, it's a Citroen and doesnt add anything to a C3 other than flashy fancy gismos.
The A1 is delightful.
DS3 is my choice but as always you are paid by the Germans to criticize the French. The Audi and the Mini are about as practical as a boil on your backside !
