Winter of 93/94 - we had just flipped our Leopard 1 tank over on its roof in the 3 meter deep snow, almost crushing me standing in the commanders hatch trying to navigate in a whiteout to find the shooting range. I’m still continuing working hard in getting my body rejuvenated and walking again with a lot of physio and exercise at home. While I was in Rehab, I’ve been listening to 90s music which was my era (I was born in ‘97) and ‘Things Can Only Get Better’ has been helping me get through it all and has become my New Anthem. Music from the 90s is so full of positivity, inspiration, happiness and real talent of course 💚 I’ve returned home and once my body’s has fully rejuvenated 100% in terms of getting my all strength, energy and coordination back. Me too, and I feel the same!
Yeah, before labour destroyed it... Still at least we said FU to the EU!
@@nickmageebrown1981 I'd love to hear why you think leaving the EU is a positive thing.
Maybe answer that in 5 years after the Tories have done their very worst
Sounds amazing
Then your entitled offspring fucked it all up for everyone (I was 32 and invincible)
Just got back from campaigning for the General Election! Only one guess who for. 🌹
Get this back in the charts this summer
we’re going to number 10 with this one 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Good song! Used this to keep positive when my husband died at 61. My neighbour has just lost hers at 38! Would recommend this song but hard to keep up at the moment, knew him from a young boy, still thought of him as one. His family are torn apart!
Expecting this to go back to top of the charts once again next Friday 05/07
Came here from watching The Crown. Love this song!
Who’s here after searching “Things can only get better” after pm rain soaked election speech
Crate of beer ready, like back in 97! thanks rainy rish. 👍
The whole of the UK right now
No, only idiots.
Hard luck Iraqi widows and orphans!
I want this go back in the charts at No.10
July 4th will be OUR INDEPENDENCE DAY! 🙌🏼
May the fourth be with you
From long memories.
Things will only get better no got rid of torries ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@JoeKinney-ht7el Politicians are orientated to improving our lives???
I don't get philanthropic vibes from the former head of the CPS.
I’m here because of The Crown. Who’s with me?! 👑👑👑👑

God save The King Tony!

Was a good scene
LABOUR LANDSLIDE INCOMING BABY!! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Yes please!
Let's Canada 1993 the Tory b@st@rds!
@@sarcasticvalet1199Let's make people stop referring to "Canada 1993" as a bad election for conservatives, and make "Britian 2024" that new reference
@@TimoDyer thatd be a tragedy!
@@Beetless the 14 year CON government was the complete tragedy
Here after Labours landslide victory last night. First Blair in 1997 and now Starmer 27 years later in 2024
This song is more appropriate in 2024 than it was in 1997
yeah Major was pretty good as PM. NI peace process, Maastricht Treaty, and put the economy on track after a wobbly start. He was let down by the right-wing bastards in his own party when he had a small majority to work with and had to rely on them for support.
Steve Bray is a legend.
Truly.🇬🇧👍
Here at 1:39am on 4/07/24. Im nearly 17, and full of (likely misplaced) optimism for the future. Let’s see how it goes yeah?
British humour at its finest...roll on 4th July...out with the lot of them!😂
BANTER 😅
Who's ready for a labour government 😍😍❤️.
VOTE CHANGE. VOTE LABOUR.
Same shit, different Rossett
@@1954lobRosette* 🏵️ And they're nowt like the same. Not saying they'll be great, but y'know the state of the country at the minute? Things Can Only Get Better!
I think not!! More like “VOTE FOR THE SAME SHHHHH, DIFFERENT COLOUR!” if you vote for Labour
Things won't get better overnight, probably will never get better, but how fast everything gets worse will slow down 😂😂
They're not a Labour government, they are red Conservatives. Be gone, reactionary
Headed here. Sorted by New. Wasn't disappointed.
We will probably hear this quite a lot now
Really hope Steve Bray gets a cut of the royalties for playing this outside Downing Street!
He should get a knighthood.
