The Harry Potter Franchise could definitely be considered one of the greatest fantasy series there is. Today we’re taking a look behind the scenes at the 5th Harry Potter movie, The Order of the Phoenix. This film is a special one, especially considering its when Albus Dumbledore passes away. This is also one of the Daniel Radcliffe movies that sees Harry facing VERY intense obstacles. So how did the actors spend their time on set? Tonks was spending her time playing original tunes on her guitar, while Matthew Lewis and Alfred Enoch spent their time playing cricket instead of doing homework. While they were on set, the actors were taught some very intricate wand choreography so they could properly portray the elite wand battling on screen! As for Fred and George Weasley, the actors who portrayed them, alongside Bonnie Wright, seemed to have a bit TOO much time on their hands when they were pulling pranks all over the set - especially one that actually involved a huge construction site across the road from their film studio!
There was one very big break taken during the shooting of the film - nine weeks in order for Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson to complete some major school exams! Speaking of Hermione and Harry - remember the scene where they were giggling incessantly with Ron discussing Harry’s kiss with Cho? That was pure laughter from the actors who by that point knew each other extremely well and were dear friends - the team kept the camera’s rolling and happened to include this improv in the final edit!

Kreature had such a big role in the books in my opinion, his loyalty to Regulus, helping him with the horkrux and then helping Harry should have been included in the movies
The house elf part was important anyway, I love the films but they took out so much important things and left in things that weren't in the books, it was still entertaining I love Harry Potter but I'm more a fan of the books.

@@EshaysSahar thanks 😊😋 I'm glad they left in the beadle and bard tales that's was epic, but yer some inconsistencies with the deathly Hallows that the fan theories seemed so much better, like Ron being the true heir of Griffendor would have been epic, or Ginny lol cause she's the youngest. Some of the fan theories tied the loose ends so much better and even JK admitted that herself in a documentary Sooooo In the words of Severus Snape, I will Always be a fan. 😂

2:40 According to Helena, he was a real bad ass too. He didn't scream out that he was hurt, but kept the scene going until they finished.
It must have been incredibly painful, but the kid has some incredible chops. He impressed Helena Bonham-Carter!

@@manuelcaycedo561 Your ear drum is essentially just a bit of skin, so it can heal. But you really should get medical attention for the injury. You don't want to get an infection going. That can cause hearing loss or even death if the infection get's into your brain.
The scream was so powerful and evoked so much emotion that they took it out of the movie..... said no filmmaker ever....
Um actually yes...though in the classic Marathon Man, Dustin Hoffman didn't feel his scream when being tortured with a dentist's drill by Sir Lawrence Olivier was real enough. He went off and found such a harrowing scream that it stopped filming, they really thought he'd been hurt and Olivier dropped the fake drill "Oh my boy!" That one stayed in the film, so it kinda proves your point. :) I remember feeling it was real due to some horrible dentist visits, he nailed it.

Imelda Staunton as Umbridge was amazing! She was so brilliant to act that crazy pink witch, so we can hate the character, but not the actress.
Honestly she did such an amazing job and put so many good details in like the small laugh she does to herself while smiling when she's being a bitch.
It's so annoying I can literally still hear it just thinking about it lol

Order of the Phoenix is my favorite book of all the HP series and seeing it live in action was amazing. After seeing this video, made me love the movie even more.

That means that I have read multiple fanfics that add up to the same or more than the entire series
Harry Potter series is full of intense and sometimes scary onscreen moments, Movie magic takes some serious work on set, so the cast had to do things like climb toppling towers of furniture in the Room of Requirement, ride broomsticks hooked up to rigs that really moved and Stunt professionals were on set to pull off some amazing scenes, like falling 55-feet to a mat on the floor after being faced by dementors, but the cast was also able to take on some scary stunts themselves.
I read about Daniel Radcliffe's stunt double David Holmes just earlier this year. Holmes' mentality about his paralysing accident on HP set is incredible and he has some GREAT stories about coping. Daniel and David hosted a podcast series highlight the amazing work and dedication of stunt performers. It's called "Cunning Stunts" and still online (check it out!)

such a special and magical series to watch! I'd love to own the dvd's myself so I can watch them on my own time! My sister was a huge fan back then before ending her time being a fan but I watched some of the movies with her sometimes and it blew my mind how crazy the magic was! Still so so fascinating everytime I see a video like this or others similar :)

An interview with Daniel Radcliffe came out recently (the one where he reads the most googled questions about him) where he completes debunks that. It just isn't true.
I'm surprised at the reason for muting the scream, I thought it would've added to the realism.

I love how all the actors literally are their characters. Also every bit of time and money put into sets like the ministry were 1000% worth it! They enhanced the movies so much, even it the screen time was minimal and have created everlasting memories for all fans.

If you mess up a Polyjuice Potion, the results can be permanent. Not that this happened in the books, but it's a plausible in-universe reason.
They probably just upped Emma's pay to make her stay. People at the time were so obsessed with Emma (which affected her mental health) that recasting would have had a hugely negative effect on the fanbase.
Dans scream has been available to see for ages and I honestly think they should have kept it in, because it was necessary, kids movie or not.
One of the best series of all time!! Too bad that many of the younger actors have struggled a lot with their careers after Harry potter. Tom felton for example. I was amazed how skilled he is as an actor when I watched other movies later on, when he also could play completely other characters just as well.
I heard that the actor playing serious black had to get Harry in a state of mind (Danial) so that he could authentically scream like that. I read somewhere that there was a massive pep talk between the two before following through. None of it would have been possible without the actor who played serius black coaching Danial into doing that.
Makes me wish I went into acting looks so much fun but as well as a whole lot of work. I’m just glad I’m into creating photography, videos and books so hey it’s something. Can always get my nieces and nephews to want to become one 😂

The fact that this still gets views as if its a todays recent movie. (4.1m rn). LOVE IT. And not to mention, harry potter and harry potter universe and culture and still super duper relavant and i like that. I mean, same is true for all cult movies isnt it, they are timeless and all generations like them.
If Daniel's scream was *that* intense... I honestly wish they HAD included the sound in the movie. Personally, the scene where Sirius dies didn't captivate my emotions the way I truly wanted it to. He's one of the most important characters, and I was frustrated that I couldn't feel the pain nearly as deeply as would genuinely do Sirius justice for that scene. But if I could have heard that scream, I think it would have been *exactly* what it needed to be.
Yeah, I felt that moment needed something more. It felt short and cheap. A good heart wrenching scream would probably have helped the scene.

One thing to be noted is how everything in harry potter movies was very convenient (for harry and the movie and all). Like, in 1st movie harry learned alohmora and riding the broom and those exact same things were required to open the door and riding the broom to get the key.
It won't hurt to release the original audio publically though. Imagine bellatrix crying after seeing the boy she hates the most crying over the cousin she hates the most. And Dan would be laughing after that cause he was really just acting.

I’m in the midst of revisiting the Harry Potter series, immersing myself once more in the magical world. It’s fascinating to witness the transformation of the actors from their debut in ‘The Sorcerer’s (Philosopher’s) Stone’ to their final appearance in ‘The Deathly Hallows Part 2’. This journey down memory lane mirrors my own life progression from the age of 11 to 34. Interestingly, I share the same age as Daniel Radcliffe.

The ministry of magic is one of the most sophisticated locations in the whole series.

This calls attention to something I've always thought. They snap the wands like twigs when they want to, yet wizards carry them everywhere for a lifetime? These things would need replacing constantly.
