Oh my. You made it so easy to follow. Can’t wait to try.
I'm glad hopefully u have an easy time with it :)
Great video, thank you for the links.
Welcome
great tutorial thank you have you done a metal topper like for a mason jar? does it work the same way ?
Yes it would work exactly the same way :)
Where did you get the heat thing at
Hi love the video so once we do the uv resin on there and once it dries when the customer needs to wash it is there any special instructions for the lid like don’t do this or that? Thanks in advance
Just hand wash just like the tumblers themselves :)
Love this!! Found you on a Facebook group and so glad I did. How much extra would you charge on a cup with a top like this?
I add 5$ to my original price :)
@@silascrafts3329 thank you!!
@@MariaNost7211 your welcome
I've seen a few videos and they talk about mold if water seeps into the cracks, that's why if they're using e6000 or hot glue they use resin afterwards to seal everything. Have you had any issues with using the UV resin and mold? After you finish apply all your ice cubes do you do a once-over of UV resins to seal any gaps that you have?
No I haven't.
@@silascrafts3329 after you finish applying all your "ice" do you go over the whole thing with UV?
@@MrsRemy no I just do the light over it for 90 sec.
@@silascrafts3329 okay, I get my UV resin today. Thank you for responding 😊😊
@@MrsRemy of course.
Just tried it and the top is sticky now any tips should one wash it when done?
Cleam with alcohol
What wattage UV light do you use?
Everything I use is in my description
Where do you get the tumblers from
I buy all mine from makerflo
So I used the same UV and I cannot get pass the smell of it. It’s horrible. Are you having the same issues
Oh no I haven't noticed it
@@silascrafts3329 I did a lid about a week ago and the smell is still strong
@@DONNAMAKEUPJUNKIE09 hmm weird. I have mine and I don't smell it at all. I did when I first used it but once I put the light the smell was gone. I know some people are more nose sensitive with things then others. That might be it?
@@silascrafts3329 yeah that might be what it is. I gotta find another uv resin that doesn’t have a strong smell because I’m not comfortable selling it to anyone if I can smell it this strong. I might have a nose like a hound dog
You ever try glue gun would it be faster..hot glue would look like melting ice...I wanna try
I have not tried it. I seen that glue turns yellow fast. So I didn't wanna use it. :)
@@silascrafts3329 I tried..different..glues..never had yellowing..I've had crazy stuff..driving myself crazy tho...LMAO
@@kellygallo1075 lol ya I like the uv cause it dries super fast
@@silascrafts3329 I have some and light never used..there's hard soft types..have no Idea ??? If u know anything lmk I'm confused..lol
I would like to subscribe your kinda cool you still work from home? I do alot of resin pieces from home...I feel like a shut in w/covid thing..ugh..
