This Twitch Rivals Tournament was EPIC to play and I had a great time! This match in particular was super back and forth and filled with great content so it's a bit longer (but worth it!).
I'd like to personally thank ShenobiPH for his hard work on this video; he did a great job telling the story of this game from multiple POV's and keeping it super exciting.

Nice to see Timmy popping off and actually asking for Albert's take on his play this game just like how Albert looked for his calls during Valorant.
It's generally really pleasing, to see that a player is constantly trying to improve. Not afraid to seek better plays or better alternatives.
Kinda weird how they are shutting down ray simply because Albert is a more known league player but ray honestly has more game knowledge than all of them combined.
@@DrowsyYo Definitely see where you're coming from but I do think that they started to really shut down his calls only after a few of his engages turned into a bad fight for them. Several times he hooked too early and put the team into a bad spot. Could have just been an off day or the nerves getting to Ray, I know he is a incredibly knowledgeable and skilled player for sure.
@@DrowsyYo Idk if it's the case or whatever, but I believe they took Albert specifically for the League games. I thought it was obvious that he should've had more prio when it comes to play or shot-calling. I really felt the other 3 was more into seeking Albert's calls but RayC just kept calling sudden plays every time he sees an opportunity to hook. Like that one time Timmy got shutdown just because RayC suddenly called a hook, when the original play was steal red and get out after a successful team fight.
@@DrowsyYo Weird how they designated albert as the shotcaller from the very beginning and even in practice matches they kept having to remind Ray that albert is the shotcaller and to listen to/stop talking over him. I HIGHLY doubt he has more game knowledge than albert, but even if he somehow did the team chose albert to be the shotcaller and they didn't want comms cluttered, he was highly disrespectful to albert and the rest of the team. Everyone on the team was also EXTREMELY patient with him.

You could tell that Timmy was uncomfortable with how aggressive he was during laning phase. Timmy's movement suggested that he wanted to fight backwards and not initiate but the dude kept going ham. It worked out for them, sure. But if they were facing better players, they'd have been punished so bad over and over.
Ok i admit Ray’s hooks are reallyyyyy good but he just have to calm down with the shot calls especially when Albert already did it.

Its the old, Learn to follow in order to know how to lead adage. He obviously wants to be alpha and cant set his pride aside for 2 games when someone is clearly better for the job. A good team leader knows when to step down in the presence of a more successful one.
It's also the nature of blitz, having your team near you vs 2/3 sec away from you turns good hooks into int hooks
@@og-ru6oc Agreed, League doesn't naturally have voice comms and coming from DotA 2, this kind of shot calling is actually normal because for some reason, low elo league players don't realizes that supports/initiators dictate the plays and the team needs to play around them rather than the damage dealers. It's for this reason that the high utility roles makes callouts in pro play, you won't see an adc dictating how to play the lane it's always the support.
i know its a lot more work, but i really really appreciate having each players pov, and it's so well done!

I don't think that Ray understands that early game in-lane hook picks are a whole different to mid game hook picks. Walking up to 5 people for a hook whilst abandoning the potential peel for your adc is a whole lot different to getting a hook in a 2v2 lane. If only he actually listened to BoxBox, they could have placed so much higher.

Great content... although a little bit hard to watch, some plays hurt alot but that is understandable due to the difference in game knowledge. Seeing almost everyone argue about who is who.. is quite sad; which just proves the toxicity of the platforms. But nonetheless, there were undeniable mistakes that Ray made; such as very risky calls and hooks that were easily punishable and could've easily lost them the game; at least, at a higher level of gameplay. But let us remember that this was Twitch Rivals; which is content, not everyone knew how to manage waves and how to truly stay in their roles. Sure, it seems as if Ray's shotcalling was disrespectful towards BoxBox; but it could also be taken as a form of psychological panic (although ngl some comments Ray made were definitely disrespectful not only towards Box Box but towards the whole team in general). Due to Ray shotcalling alot, I bet that BoxBox didn't overpower him not only because it is how us introverts work but also not to create more tension- which held the team together; whilst being open to giving advices to his teammates- which was big poggers.
But overall props to everyone being accomodating and being able to maintain cool- a true team (although can become really unhealthy in the long run if the leader doesn't let his voice out, at least, based on my experiences). Anyways to Box Box, content is becoming scarce but don't stress about it since we come for your personality; as long as you are healthy and having fun; I believe that us as a community will always be there to support. Keep it up ! Don't get burnt out due to the unrealistic expectations of others anyways //poggers//

Plus, he tried to be the shot caller even though he was playing for himself. The group assigned box box as the IGL, ray just disrespected box box and called over him.
