- WOW, what an experience!! A rather sloppy lap on a track I hadn't driven before in a very unknown machine haha.... (excuses for poor apexes, weak braking and lack of commitment with the throttle on the last few fast corners... let alone the penalty for hitting the yellow boundary haha)!
An absolutely incredible day at Bedford being lucky enough to drive a whole host of amazing race cars! Ginetta G56, BMW M4, JPLM, Landrover, Sodi Kart, a few different Caterhams and to top the day off... a 15 min session in this incredible Formula 3000. - Авто та транспорт
Done tbus with my work. We were the first outside drivers to drive the Ginettas. They were only 3 days old at the time. Sensational
I went a couple of months ago. The Ginetta G56 was my overall favourite I’d say. Impressive and ‘easy’ to drive, yet still thrilling.
The JPLM was the most mind bending. Insane grip and the instructor constantly shouting “FULL POWER!” helped instil confidence, resulting in getting the most out of it. It did start to make me feel a little nauseous towards the end.
The Formula 3000 was intimidating to say the least! I drove that more…”reserved” shall we say 😂
What an absolutely incredible experience though. Albeit mentally exhausting! Mind blowing!
Awesome mate! Glad you've done it. I've followed you since the M140i vids (I still have mine) and have trackdayed mine at Bedford a couple of times. You can obviously drive and feel the car, sure you'll look at the lap and see time on the table but easy to say afterwards. You need to do it again! I've been lucky enough to do Palmersport 2.5 times. Yeh it's expensive but far and away the best experience of any in my view, get to push hard and find your limits. P.S you'd have loved the Atom a few years back!
Thanks bud! Amazing stuff! I utterly LOVED it! I would love to do it once a year now if I can! Because it was an incredible experience. Oh yes, I was there with work so on my best behaviour too haha! There will always be room for improvement but happy with a first crack at it! Glad to hear you are enjoying the m140! They really are incredible in every way!
