- Welcome to the day 7 of the 2nd annual 12 Days of Christmas sewalong extravaganza!
Alright folks - let's make a notebook cover! No downloadable PDF for this one, I will go over how to calculate the size you need to make a cover for ANY book or notebook that you want to.
My book is 8.5" tall by 5.5" wide and I cut a piece of cork that is 9" tall by 21" wide to create my cover. I added a pen loop which was 3" by 1/2" and I rivet it into place. I added my logo using my glowforge aura and placed it 7.25" from the right side of the panel (prior to sewing).
I hope you love It just as much as I do!

Awesome, super like always, and I love the cactus, I live in the Desert, that is so inviting. Thank you, Happy Holiday.

So sweet. Really comes together nicely and quickly. Thank you, Nicole.

Love this notebook cover! Now if I just "remember" to jot down my thoughts, I may get organized!🤣🥰
You can do it!
This is something everyone needs, very smart looking
Excited to make my daughter a custom journal - she’s going to love it!

Oh boy I am gonna quilt it ❣️
Please post a pic!!
I love this idea.
Glad to hear!
Another great, useful project! Thanks!
Thank you! Cheers!
Fab. Thanks. You could also iron a bit of Shapeflex on the back of the pen holder if you didn’t want to rivet or sew.
Oh interesting idea, I’ve never heard of shapeflex!
SF 101!
@@FicelleProductionsoh derrr of course I’ve heard of that! Haha. I like that idea though, fuse it on top and avoid rivets!

Love this one!
Glad you like it!
I love this.
🖤🖤
Could the pen holder loops be stitched by machine instead of a rivit or glued in?
For sure, just do an “X” over each part that slips into the cuts.
Thank you
You're welcome
This is simply gorgeous! Thanks for another super project.
You are so welcome!
Thank you🤩🤩🤩
You’re welcome 😊
Love it , thank you 😊
You’re welcome 😊
That is beautiful! And you used one of my favorite corks! ❤
It is a good one, I keep it hoarded since it’s discontinued 🫶🏼🫶🏼
These projects are great! Thanks so much for doing these videos!
Glad you like them!
Where do you purchase your edge coat? Love this idea for a Bible cover!
I get it all over the place, where I can find the cheapest price. But I shop between Emmaline Bags, Buckle Guy, and Fabric Funhouse.
How cute is this! Haha brain books 😂. I have one for each subject. To do, sewing, homeschooling, randomness, ect 😂❤. We use to wrap books in paper bags.
I did that too!! So fun to draw all over the covers!
Good morning . . . Here from SW Washington. ??? I missed a few days, how (if possible) could I view and download ur patterns. Thx so much - u r a jewel. Shalom
They’re all on my channel with the info in the description box of each video
Love the small projects you’re teaching us! Thank you!! You should tell FF to bring their printed cork back! I’m sad I missed my chance on it.
I wish I could but it was a quality issue and fabric funhouse only brings the best!
Love it thank you for another great tutorial ❤
Wanted to ask you what your tension is on to use tex 70 and did you have to adjust your bobbin? I want to try in my Juki also Juki Junkies said not to it wouldn't work well you have proved them wrong 😂
I never mess with my tension, that can get you in hot water. I always match upper thread with lower thread. That being said, I’m not a machine expert so please use your own judgement!
We are so much alike. That’s my favorite pen too. You must be a Capricorn. 😂
I’m a Pisces!
Hi May I ask what size rivets you used. Thank you for your time
These are probably 6mm x 6mm if I had to guess. I have so many on hand!
What is the tool called that you use to apply the finish coating on the edges? Thanks!
It’s a leather paint roller applicator!
Where can I get that cork?
It’s discontinued 😭😭😭 this is my special stash.
