Bought this ration today out of curiosity, and boy I'm actually impressed by it. Yes thats real, shredded duck meat, and overall for the price I paid (12€) this ration is insane value, and everything tastes pretty good too. French army rations will be my new goto mre's for longer trips. Those guys don't go to war, they go to have some fine dining in combat zones lol

Mains, sides, all excellent. I always wanted the Ostrich ration, never obtained. Great rations, plenty of food. Yours looks excellent, so far. Just watch out, for A , Wild Card. I never thought, I would like , mint tea? Tried one, in ration, still buy on occasion. Not bad. I am, used to iced tea, but, do like hot tea as well. Rations, have helped, get me accustomed? I'm sure everything will go fine. I know you are eating a lot more healthy these days so i'm wondering if i need to change it up from fatty brisket with mac-n-cheese to grilled chicken and salad 😄
I was looking at one of these on eBay yesterday it kinda intimidated me with the tuna and ginger salad I buy them to try them but I hate to pay so much for something that I'm not going to like the main still don't know if I'm going to pull the trigger but I'm slightly more confident than I was before watching this
These videos should only be done by people that have eaten rations like this in a tactical environment because they look way too yummy and convenient otherwise :)
With meal portions like the muesli, you need to think like a soldier, not a ration reviewer. A soldier is issued with a variety of mess tins and cups, he will simply put the portion into a tin or cup, which is where he made his hot water. He doesn't need no fancy gusseted packaging. Reviewers make this mistake all the time.
The shredded duck is interesting. You and Tracy can have all the gizzards😜
nougat bar is a french traditionnal speciality. It smells like paint but it's very natural: almond, eggs, sugar and honey...

No nougat does not taste like paint at all. It's an old traditional delicacy in France mainly from the town of Montélimar
