A Great Song, written by an amazingly talented gentleman! I love this song! ♥️♥️♥️
I remember Lyle when he worked at Cycle Shack in Bellaire, TX in the late '70's. Ran with one of his road racing co-workers-Had no clue he had such a flip side and I really enjoy his music and he is truly one-of-a-kind!
This is a real good candidate for the greatest song ever written. Wow^100. :)
+Donagh McCarthy AGREED !
Donagh McCarthy My first reaction is to disagree, but I'll be damned if I can think of a good rebuttal ;-)

Lyle Lovette = Ameican treasure.

😂😂😂
OMG... What a sweet song
Love Lyle
I love him.
Good song.
Similar in guitar style with John prinne, easy to listen to
I hadn't thought of that coincidence , but you're right on the money . I 'discovered John , a short year before he passed . I miss both of them . This tune brought back memories of 'just bein a kid' --with a VIVID imagination --natcherlee !
What guitar is he playing please ?
It's a collings
I saw him do this at Poor David's Pub and was totally turned off. He was nervous like this and had that crazy hairdo like Dick Tracy. I wasn't impressed but the friend and my ex were impressed. I decided later that I had misjudged him for some reason, but you know I had the opportunity to hear the best in the biz like Townes and others local in OKC. What do I know?
The signer is working overtime trying to translate lyle to english early on.
Sadly, guitar is way too loud in mix
I had to turn my volume down so hopefully I didn't aggravate my neighbor in the apartment behind me. I could still hear Lyle's voice with ease though.
I agree.
I know man.....freakin fix the audio on a good show :(
They also didn't put a limiter in front of the converters so he keeps clipping those too. :-/
@@mlwsf compressor you mean.
I just posted a version of this great tune...
If i was a puppet
i would looklike lyle lovett
Sound is dreadful
Is he ever lucky to toss out that goofy movie star he got rid of, Julia Robert's is a nut case.
