While Creatine and Ketones are good, Ryan Thomas's RCA training program is the real winner. And your compliance to it! Just our opinion, haha. Love the vid.
When it comes to “water weight”, what most people do not understand is that this isn’t like the water weight you gain from large intakes of sodium and calories, for example. The water weight from creatine mostly is in the muscles since muscles are mostly made up of water. So you look “fuller.” It’s a good type of water weight to have.
sprinting on a bike is so scary because while you're going at increasingly higher speeds, you lose all sort of control with the stamina depletion also it's more confortable looking at the ground when arched above the front end of the bike so..
Whats the point of peak power? I can hit 1500 watts for 1 sec but I will end up averaging 1300+ for 5 secs, but that will result in a less durable sprint however I can start at 1300 and build up and the loss of power will be less leading up to a longer sprint
@@MitchBoyer for me the jump from 50 to 52 was amazing. The 54 is icing in the cake. 52 is for was good for all riding however the 54 you need a decent ratio on the back for climbing 😂
@@MitchBoyer also. Love the video man! From Lincoln UK, brilliant insite as a relatively new rider myself your videos almost also cover the things I want in a great way!
Thanks dude! I linked the strava activity in the description if you wanna see the power file, but here's the workout: 2 hrs Endurance (zone 2), then 4 reps of 5 sec sprints with 2 mins of rest between, repeat that sprint set 3 times total with 6 minutes of rest between each set
@@MitchBoyer Ah, gotcha! Thanks for the info! Always interesting what people actually mean when they say "sprints". Anyway, just coming to your channel after seeing you highlighted via some RCA content. Cool to see you journey! Thanks for sharing!
@@benjaminherrman oh yeah, depending on context a "sprint" could be a 20 second effort or just a max burst--they feel very different! Thanks for watching dude!
Great content, thanks for sharing!!

Totally agree, all the supplements in the world are worthless without a good training plan. Ryan’s plan is the real hero here 🙌
scam post
Been watching your stuff for a while now. Really enjoyed your pacing and cuts on this one especially. Kudos on your increases! Go get them 1300!
Thanks Charles!
Love the video and thanks for the shoutout!! Nailing your training Mitch which also makes the improvements even better 👊
Thanks Ryan! Appreciate all you do 🙌
Absolutely loved the old TV show style opening 😄 The music made it! Hanging out for your Australia's steepest roads video - greetings from Tasmania.
Haha glad it worked! Thanks for watching
love your videos, always a pleasure when you upload
Congrats on the gains🙌
Awesome video!!
Thanks dude!
Really feeling bad for that weather you're getting. Hope it gets better!
Great video as always! This is starting to become my favourite cycling yt channel! I like the new sunglasses 😎 btw ahaha!
Thats good! As someone who can't sprint so doesn't bother training it, this vid gives me hope.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 “… start with my diet… it’s trash…” gawd I love the candor… 😆😆😆🙌🏽
woohoooo!! nice quality content here!! New sub brother!! goodluck your cycling journey!! ❤🎉🎉
How dare you NOT to read exercise studies for fun ?!
😂 guess I'm not a true cyclist yet
As soon as you said your not giving up pizza you got the thumbs up, keep up the good work. Good vid.
Pizza is the food of the Gods… I “ain’t” giving it up either! 🍕 😊

Disc brakes are holding you back. Rim brakes add another 86w
Would creatine or ketones be a better topping on a pizza? Asking for a friend
lolol
My favorite part is him messing with the chain and showing off his clean hands.

Was pumped to hear real world results with Ketones without a sponsor dammit
It is sponsored, and no indication that the ketones did anything here. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't.

Max power is all ego, which would be a lot more convenient if my number was higher 😂
What chain ring size do you use? I found the move from compact to a 54 and 52 helped my sprint data alot
Oh thats super interesting! I have a 52/36 chainring, I wonder what a 54 would feel like

Let's not shame pizza! 😆
It hurt to even say it in the video 😅
Love the video! When adding sprints to the end of those endurance rides, how long were those and what rest interval were you giving between them?

Hey dude. Congrats on the gains! Are you no longer on the Breakaway app?
Thanks dude! I still use it occasionally, but not with my every day training.
How much do you bench?
Bro. You are missing the bro
Mew wheels on the RoadMachine?
Yep! I got some Scribe Elans. There’s a bit more info in my tubeless tire video, but the short version is I love them!
You are like a legal Pablo 😂
magnificent calves
🙏🙏
Great video as always. Turning into an all-out sprinter I see. Next step is sprint shifters🤌🏽😮
Thanks, Chris! Looking forward for picking some more tips next time we ride 🙌
