Ali is by far my favorite comedian now. He brings a story telling, knowledge, and respect that is unmatched in the scene. And that's not bringing up how damn FUNNY he is. He really points out the funniest stuff, and just thinks everything out in such a straightforward and logical way. I really want to see as much of his work as I can, it's very very enjoyable.
He was easily the best comic on the show, but he didn't have a sob story because he doesn't milk his prison past. He doesn't need to.

I'm a Houston native too. I put in at least 100 votes for Ali and I NEVER vote. Nobody came close to Ali's level of skill. We also have to think about this, the 5 people in that group... that's 5 times as many relatives and friends they have vs Ali's. Rigged system is rigged 🤷🏾♀️

I’m so happy they did this interview. And I’m happy that I watched bring the funny. Cause Ali is definitely a top three comedian for me and I would’ve prob never paid much attention if it wasn’t for that show. He got robbed. But everyone knows he’s the better comedian.

This man is so real, deep there was a reason he went to jail. I was recently called to reach out to a 19yo young man that sent to prison for killing his ex girlfriend. Just randomly came up in my feed compelled to reach out. His spirit is his. I wish I could put him in contact with this guy. The young man, I can make changes like he did in prison. Some just have that warrior spirit you know, no matter where they are. Just like the cats that were in prison that helped him & how he made prison more pleasant or more bearable. This is why I believe we are hated because no matter what the situation there are some that rise up & lead, teach, inspire, protect, try to make the current situation the best it can be.

A person may think, off the cuff, why would an accompished comedian be in a competition show that may be considered for amatures. Well. we forget those stipulations are something WE have formulated NOT the competition itself. WE are assuming as such. when the fact is.. A comedian is a profession. Its not simply funny people going about their business. WE the audience must understand Comedians are no different than Actors, In fact Comedians are indeed Actors of arguably a greater quality. That competition platform is merely a tool to be used to broaden ones own audience. a perfect platform because it reaches far more people on your awareness than the hear say you would otherwise get from only the comic trail. For instance. TV broadcast only recently became a platform of which Hollywood actors would partake in. Television series. The four mediums of entertainment Radio, Broadcast Television (TV series) , THEATER (broadway) and Hollywood Big screen Movies were once kept very seperate from one another. ONLY superstars found themselves dabbling a bit in several, because their demand was so high. And as a business, the actor of broadening ones horizon made such people incredible rich. For comedians, doing gigs for the military was a huge payday back in the day. comedians doing USO tours for the troops overseas. similar stuff happens today for corporate gigs, special venue like short runs on Vegas, you name it. SO as mentioned being a great comedian but only lilmiting yourself to that singular audience sector, is not good for ones financial bottom line. Again, this is why you see more and more comedians doing films for the big check and the broader audience, boosting ones career. comedians often end up to late night shows. least we forget almost all such shows are hosted by past standup comedians. aka televsion broadcast. so although it may seemed unusual for Ali to be in that competition, more important than winning was simply his exposure on a broadcast level world wide.
He ended up winning because I don't know who won but that person is not being interviewed!!!
