I think Surf photographers deserve way more credit....they are trulls the troopers of the ocean. Takes a lot of ballzzz to be in the waters not knowing what could happen.
Trithory isn't it amazing how they can take those photos without a waterproof camera? like how do they not get they're camera wet? to me, a photographor is the hardest job in the world. some of there gear costs millions of dollars to put these videos into producetion
Great video! 1 little critique... please either lower the background music or use a song that doesn't have vocals. It's very distracting. I was checking to see if I had another tab opened with another YT video playing.
I'm starting off my career and I got a gopro and now I wanna upgrade don't know what camera I should get my price range is 500 to 1000 dollars any body know any good cameras
Good capture of the twisting vortices at 06:16 those are fascinating. Here is a story in Scientific American: See Delicate Rib Vortices Encircle Breaking Ocean Waves These little-studied mini twisters form beautiful loops under the water’s surface By Joanna Thompson on August 1, 2022
The wipeout that he describes sounds like the same thing that happened to surf photographer Jon Mozo at Backdoor, which is right next to Off the wall 5:28 RIP Jon Mozo

Why don't they use scuba diving gear, can anyone answer this
Couchrider99 maybe because it's easier and fastest to move
It can fall off well in the wave
Whoa, thankyou for your artistic brain thoughts. Inspires art

Inspiring work as a photographer, great video too Thank you for making and sharing this with us your fans.
Does anyone know the gear he used
I’m pretty sure his fins are bodysurfing fins. “DaFin” brand
housing is an SPL
How they swim back in with all those big waves breaking .

What
Neocolour helmet? Does it ever bother the surfers that you are there right in the line?
Tredicesimo
Anyone else catch him say "very far and few between" instead of very few and far between?
I was just about to comment on that! Fantastic photography and vision though.
Also at 6:35: "...shooken up". Shook up, maybe?
