It makes extra painful if you watch the avengers infinity war right after this. Theres a scene where original Gamora finally tells Peter that she loves him more than anything, right before Peter tries to kill her. And that was the last time Peter saw Gamora.
I forgot, but why would Peter try to kill Gamora? Something about some info she has, right?
@@queenperrytheplatypus458 she was the only person that knew where to find the soul stone
@@user-fc3cz7ds7q Ah, right, thanks!
it was hilarious, having the other guardians mention how awkward the conversation was and having mantis scream into the microphone, clearly the scene was meant to be comical
My heart goes out to that poor man, poor sod.
Lmao I love Mantis and Drax's brother/sister interactions where they have half a braincell between the two of them and they sometimes lose it.
They could actually work with that Siblings animatic/song with Peter being Patrick
And my money
If following the Battle of Earth in Avengers: Endgame (2019), and after Iron Man sacrificed himself using the alternate infinity stones to kill the alternate Thanos and Black Order and their armies at the cost of his own life, Star-Lord quickly convinced the alternate Gamora to try to join the Guardians of the Galaxy like her deceased counterpart did and get to know him better and even fall in love with him like her deceased future counterpart did, instead of having the alternate Gamora wander off and the join the Ravagers instead, though it was her choice by the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) Star-Lord and the alternate Gamora would not be in this predicament in terms of their relationship; the alternate Gamora alongside the main Nebula and Thor would have both joined the Guardians of the Galaxy after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019) and the alternate Gamora would have had a romantic relationship with Star-Lord by the events of Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) when Thor left the Guardians and by the events of the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022), Star-Lord would have did a marriage proposal to Gamora and Gamora would have accepted and by the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) Star-Lord and Gamora would have long since been married with human and Zehoberi sons and daughters that are six-years old and five-years old that are also Mantis and Nebula’s nieces and nephews and the deceased Meredith Quill and Ego the Living Planet’s grandchildren and Jason Quill’s great-grandchildren, and Yondu’s adoptive grandchildren and Gamora’s late parents’ grandchildren and the late Thanos’s adoptive grandchildren and the Black Order’s late nieces and nephews. That would have been a much better ending for Star-Lord and Gamora in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, don’t you agree?
Don’t really like that they actively point out Drax as stupid in the movie, he’s supposed to be more just on the wrong wave length
@@slob5041 I don't think either of them is stupid, his species is too literal and straight forward, and she was held captive by a psycho most of her life, also being around this crew doesn't really help

It`s sad that a lot of people don`t understand that the original Gamora is dead.
They probably haven't watched Avenger Infinity War
She is basically an alternate universe version, or a variant. Like if you go to a parallel universe and find your spouse they will not be your spouse.

Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness in a nutshell lol.
Same Gamora, just from the past of the same timeline.
@@davidm4566it’s her 2014 variant, as simple as that just like 2012 Loki in the TVA
My friend asked if I was disappointed that they didn’t end up together and I told her no. This gamora isn’t the one he loved. She’s a completely different person and he kept projecting the one who died on to her constantly. Maybe there’s a chance if he tried to get to know this one.
She was tempted at the end of the movie to stay with them and seemed to like Peter more then at the start but she had another family to go back to. I think if Quill hadn't been so needy at the start and maybe saw her as another person it would have been different, that being said I personally think he still has a chance based on how the movie ended, he needs to fully pick himself back up. Only then will that opportunity come back if conditions are right. After all old Gamora didnt fall for this Quill either.
Its literally the exact same person, but without the experience she had when she died. Putting the same person in the same group of friends and similar situations and expecting a completely different outcome makes no sense at all.
If she changed because of it in the first movie, she would change the second time aswel, maybe not as fast, maybe not exactly the same, but she would deffinitely change similarly CAUSE ITS THE SAME PERSON.
@@menknurlan totally agree. two gaamoras share all the qualities peter has fallen love with. it is natural reaction for peter who is at certainty they will make a good couple. so it doesn’t really matter two gamoras are same person or not. worth a shot for peter
@@menknurlan Except these people already knew a version of her. They can't just expect those same experiences to occur, that's not how life works. It's not some video game you can just reset things into place and they'll pan out the same way. This Gamora just went through something different then the one Peter knew. She became a different Gamora.
She’s not tho, she’s just Gamora without any development from the first movie. No bonding, no footloose, no face mask outside of knowhere, no shared Power stone, no nothing 😢
I really wish they let the scene go a little longer and then have the joke.
This is not a “different” Gamora, it’s just Gamora before she went through those specific situations from which she bonded with the rest of the team. She’s not from an alternate universe, she’s from the past. Her being removed/ leaving the past and coming to the future caused the past to branch into a different timeline but it’s still the same Gamora. She’s just younger and doesn’t have the emotional capacity that Quill’s Gamora had bc of those experiences. I don’t get how people say she’s from a different UNIVERSE.
If you think of each universe or dimension as being different by making different choices, she is a different Gamora. Think of it like tree branches or veins that are criss crossing. We don't know if the younger version of Gamora would've made the same choices as the OG/future Gamora because it might have branched off at some point, wether by her decision or some unknown event that made her choose another path.
TBH I feel little sorry for this version of Gamora. She has to live with these team mates who she hardly knows and are still mourning the death of their Gamora. Each time they look at her it's with sadness. Loss is a painful reminder. If this truly was the same Gamora, the pain would not be there but it is meaning the Gamora they knew is dead and the pain the team still feels at her loss shows she existed and mattered.
Timelines and universes are interchangable terms in the MCU anyways
Right this current Gamora is the same Gamora but from a different timeline
Right? This is really not complicated.
no matter what you say, if that Gamora never experienced those things beforehand, she would be like from another universe. Just another someone

Cap and Bucky was the most emotional
@@uwumarii I agree
This was one of those times where they should have just let the moment stick instead of ruining it with a joke.

Mid point was about gamora and star lord. Then %100 next was rocket racoon
Normally I would agree, but in this case I found the joke quite funny (although a bit predictable).
Nah, this wasn't going anywhere
I don't think it ruined the scene, if anything it cut the awkwardness of Peter trying once again to charm Gamora who just won't faze to his attempts of getting her to love him again
I hope they'll give Pete and Gamora a good conclusion. They started so well together. Big enemies at first, but in the end soulmates😢. Please make it count Marvel ❤🎉!

I was hoping it would have been Gamora saving Quil at the end.
Right?! Was I the only one who thought this? 🤦🏿 Made no sense with the other person. Sad how gamora was a background character to her own team smh
It would make no sense if gamora did it. U guys are acting like Quil the whole beginning of the movie. Ur so stuck to the relationship they had and u don’t even realize that this gamora is not the same gamora. She doesn’t know who any of these people are in a deep level and u think she’s the one that’s suppose to sacrifice her life for someone that she barely knows.
Why should she do that?
Nahhh adam warlock saving quil at the end is the icing on the cake for me, literal goosebumps.
Thats because gamora isnt the same gamora that is part of their team. So its fair that she couldnt save him, because she didnt care for him as hard as the old gamora. The old gamora loved him.. and loved her team. This gamora is a stranger to them. Oh and adam warlock saving quill makes more sense because he was saved by groot ; who loved quill so damn much. And maybe he saved quill because what Groot has said. “Everybody deserves a second chance”
0:42 Mantis would be a great teacher! She can explain the work as if though it's simple, but then make everything confusing in the actual test.
She’s technically the same Gamorra, but at the same time she’s different. Never went through the experiences the original Gamorra did with the guardians, and so she will never fall in love with Quill. It’s probably the most tragic love story Marvel will ever manage to tell. Shits sad af
Why is the color coding for the buttons so confusing? 😂😂😂😂

@@jxvnjo she doesn't remember love to Peter
Lmaooooo
She was never in love with Quill in the begining. She's from another timeline, where she never met quill before, so how could she can remember something she dont
The only thing I don't like about the Guardians is what happened to Gamora. I think it's a terrible idea. Writers have lots of ideas: terrible, bad, mediocre, good, great. The trick is to identify the bad and terrible ones, and fix them before publishing. Permanently killing Gamora would have been an okay idea, not quite bad...yet. But then bringing her back through a dimensional time loop (or whatever that was) undermined her death in the Avengers movie. So then the idea went from okay to bad. Then having her get together with the Guardians, but be a different person, who didn't have the personal growth from the first two Guardians movies--and be a different person to the extent of not even being capable of traveling the same or similar road again--took the original idea to the level of terrible.
They not only undermined her death in the Avengers, but also her growth in the first two Guardians movies. Character growth is one of the two main pillars in storytelling, the other being plot development. If they had killed her and been done with it, it would have been an okay but unsatisfying end. Ending a character with their death is usually a cliche writers want to avoid. Instead, they made the problem worse and worse: That usually happens when the writer doesn't edit their bad choice.
You can't just erase character development. Further, there was no need to do it. But I guess it's hard to find a story where any one person agrees with every choice the writer made. And since there is only this one thing, I do still love the Guardians movies.
Y’all didn’t bitch whenever Loki pulled this shit

Like a Drax said: everybody deserve a second chance. This couple deserve a second chance. Like a Peter needs to heal from the loss Gamora to go on Earth but he wont forget about Gamora (which we knew from the 2 movies of Guardians or wont forget About this Gamora ) but hey there is another Gamora who didnt want to go away from them. I think she have make a like friendly relationship or love relationship (at the end for Peter i mean) when we see that she is smiling and she is sad or crying. Then when Peter accepts her variant Gamora and then he realized that another Gamora (who knows) she died. I want (or anybody) a good happy ending for them because this is not over between them (this gamora and Peter). In my opinion they will come back and then get together (like a real couple with love). This is good open ending (mature at now) but like i said it is not their definitely end about them. I see a potential to get together them. I hope that in next movie (GOTG 4 or Star Lord movie solo) we will see them together again. Peter is (actually) on Earth cuz he want a swim and enjoy the few years and moments with His grandpa.
It’s confusing as hell but there could be small possibility it could happen all over again given how she seemed to like his music on Counter Earth and all that stuff they shared at the end like you said
@@christianaguiare544Hope not, Quinn needs a new chapter..Gamora is gone, he got to accept it!!!

Honestly. This scene should have been kept serious. With the team watching with understanding and knowing that this is an important moment.
Hell, mantis is an empath. She should ESPECIALLY know not to interrupt a moment like this.
But if they really wanted to keep in the joke. Maybe they joke about it later. How it was an open comm. and they tell Peter at the end.
So stupid, they treat one of the worst moments in Peter’s life like a big joke
I hope they end with Star-lord rescuing Gamora's soul outta the Rose stone.
This scene could have been really powerful on so many levels. Why switch to comedy ? It's about accepting loss for Quill and living up to expectations for alternate gamora. It's also toying with the idea of soulmates which is very cool.
Meh.
Newsflash: Soulmates aren't exactly a thing, just a concept...and this was done perfectly, y'all got to find fault with everything. They didn't go overboard like in Thor movies or such
The alternate 2014-Gamora could have just joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, would have got to know Star-Lord a little bit better and even fell in love with him like her deceased counterpart did and even marry Star-Lord and have human and Zehoberi children also human and Zehoberi hybrids but she didn’t. Darn it, it’s a bummer…

If Peter asked Wanda before the end of Endgame to restore her memories I wonder if she’d have been capable of that.
It's a different Gamora so there is nothing to restore.
It would be easier to get an alternate universe Gamora who survived Infinity War (while the others did not so that she doesn't have a reason to stay back in her own universe).
No because THIS Gamora never lived through any of those memories…
It wouldn't be even close to ethical to force OG Gamora's memories into NG Gamora's mind. Might even be very harmful. I know it sucks but this just straight up isn't the same person. Maybe over time with new experiences they could find another way but the sad, shitty part about it is, it's extremely unlikely. If I were Quill, I'd give her the chance to say yes or no, and since she did say no, just get the fuck away from her fast as possible and stay away. The pain is never going to leave as long as he has to be around her, like a cancer eating away at the soul. Hell, me, I'd go straight up reclusive for a while following having to go through something like this. This is way more cruel than the typical kinds of heartbreak we have to endure here on Earth.

@@davedarius7346 No, it wasn’t. Not even a little bit. A very heartfelt & dramatic moment, ruined by stupid jokes & forced humor that completely destroyed the emotional impact of their conversation.
The MCU needs to chill on making every scene have a joke or a punchline. It kills the emotion in so many of the scenes. Some dramatic moments are equally as appreciate as the comedy.
why does everyone look like among us characters
Never completely trust Gunn writing and/or directing, just when you think an emotional scene can sink in, it completely 180's into a joke and ruins the moment. Nothing wrong with a sense of humor now and again, but as the saying goes
'There's a time and a place.'
There was no life or death situation going on and Peter has already been told by Gamora she wants nothing to do with him so the joke interrupting here is more justified. It's supposed to portray how pathetic Peter is becoming by not taking no for an answer with the other characters being equally annoyed by his denial and persistence.
