Ive always wanted to play the drums, since I was nine. Was forced to play the piano due to the drums being, " too noisy" and Mom has been playing it her whole life. You feel me, so I played the piano for 5 years. Hated it! Fast forward, I'm about to turn 57 next month and I found Drumeo and Domino learning Steambreather, by Mastadon. Did not know either of them from at all. The inspiration that followed I can not put into words. I'm hooked and just purchased my first pair of sticks and a pad. I'm going for it, dont care if i suck, ill get better...Much love to all at Drumeo and all your guests...Thank you for the future happiness....Rock On!!!!

Fantastic got my new gretsch catalina club kit set up, and the Neighbours came back, arrg, so had to play on my legs but still enjoyed playing along with everyone tha music to play along to was mesmerizing and did not want to stop got so locked in with the playing, cannot wait to play that on my new kit.

I’ve had a bad teacher. He will do stuff around and don’t pay attention to me. It felt boring. It took me 3 mos to learn what I learned in youtube in less than a day. 😂 I plan to go back to playing drums when I finish college 🤓
this is one of my favorite lessons and i can play along so if i can learn we can all be a drummer of sorts Thanks for simple but effective lesson

Ive been playing since 1962 then stopped for 15 years but just pad and sticks with rudiments..26 at that time now 40.. I learned traditional grip still using traditional grip .I have a Roland TD17L living in a condo is at least better than just a pad. I consider myself intermediate to advanced . I play along to alot Jazz tunes WDR Buddy Rich etc. Use to play rock in late sixties had a Sonor set prior to that 1964 I had a ludwig. Got the sonor in 1969 till 1974 then got into Resp. Therapy for 45 yrs. 1974 till 2019. Got my Roland as a gift from my brother at Christmas in 2019. Watch Drumeo when I can .Thank you all.

Omg I am in mountain time zone and had it backwards 7pm for me is 10pm eastern. I know 5 est is 3 for me ....ugh hope y'all had fun. Cool it looks like I can still watch it ( 5hours late for class)
30 day drummer is perfect for a "drumming excercise" format . With practice pads or electronic kits , Zumba style classes can flourish .

That's right you will have respect for Domino you Don't test or try to throw her off she is a master of her self she will always be a student but what makes her a master is that she is able to get you all to teach her with out you all knowing that you student mastered Are each one individual she put you all 4 together and mastered all 4 off you

How can you practice for 5 or 10 min? I dont really know what im doing but when i start practicing i lose 1 1/2-2 hours easy!

When I first ever played a real drum set in a friend's wedding, after a couple of sahti-s (Finnish beer-like mild alcoholic beverage, from the Sanskrit word shakti - nah, just kidding), was asked to become the drummer of a semi-famous local dancing band. Refused. Never learned to play drums properly, but still enjoy e.g. practising rudiments (double stroke roll, triple stroke roll, paradiddle and -diddlediddle, etc.) -- Greetings from Finland, East of Ed...er...Sweden

I'm begging yall to look into Clone Hero (open source fan made Rock Band/Guitar Hero remake for computer). It supports drums now and e-kits can be plugged in and mapped to notes. It's easy to setup, free, and has all the old games' songs and thousands of songs being added by the community. You, also, could program songs in easily and teach people through a gamified, repeateable, time adjustable, score/reward system that's genuinely fun. You could probably sell packages of rudiments and lessons and it even supports video backgrounds behind the audio track. There's so much potential and between yall and it, I've been learning drums fast and having a lot of fun BUT if a genuine online educator took the reins I'm sure it would be much more effective and profitable to teach and learn through. Please check it out!

You Can Practice With Drum Sticks To you don’t Really Need Drums! U can use plastic buckets or Hard cover books! It really matter !!
Some Musicians Just do warmups on chairs cushions or just Paradiddle!
