- As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Canadians tried their best to enjoy some Canada Day festivities. Tina Yazdani talked to Canadians about how they celebrated July 1 while trying to stay safe.

@@ocanadastandinguard6840 On July 1, there was a freedom protest in Ottawa, to fight against the loss of our rights. There was almost no coverage by the mainstream media and none on CTV's YT channel.
@Dreams About Tooth Loss The loss of our individual rights and freedoms for an overblown reaction to a virus being called a pandemic is no hoax. It's a reality. Were you not told to stay in your house, wear a mask, no restaurants, bars, theatres, shows, nothing open? Many small businesses have been destroyed. How is that a hoax?? That is a fact.

no firework tonight for people in my area, maybe in five years when this overacting and public health rules end. i feel bad for the family who enjoys the fire everyday day or used the swimming pool or splash pads in summer this year.

Happy birthday Canada ! ! Canada rates high on the countries immigrants and refugees want to move to . Must be something good happening here . I say we must work closer with the native element and to the rest there is the door if you don't like it here ànd don't let the door hit you on the way out .
