@@CPayshim checking in with his friend, and even helping him see his family again, i don't think hes exploiting them, you know there is such thing a good person?
Can't help but wonder how things will turn out for Vittus - will he move to Nuuk or stay in his hometown and his girlfriend moves instead? Whatever happens, I truly wish the best for both of them. Thank you Luke for sharing Vittus' story with us and hope you have more of such stories to share in the future.
He said at the end he was willing to give up Tasilaq and move to Nuuk for Adi. And he proposed so unless they’re gonna be married and start a family together from opposite ends of the country I think it’s safe to say he’ll move there with her like he said he would
Dude this video is just so wholesome... Imagine what it would be like if Luke didn't visit Vittus. At first he was considering many horrible things, but you visited him and that gave him a lot of special moments. 1 year later and he proposed! Im so happy for both Adi And Vittus!
not me crying my eyes out over that ending, bro, this was so beautiful--to see the love Vittus has for both his home and his girl, and to be willing to give up his home for her happiness, is incredibly powerful. This video was brilliantly human.
Both melancholic and beautiful, seeing Vittus struggle between choosing the home where he belongs versus the woman he loves so dearly tears at the strings on my heart
Instead of creating a story, Luke does a great job at relaying the actual story…wish we had more UA-camrs like him who are as intentional and genuine. I find this documentary incredibly wholesome, that Luke was dedicated in not only continuing to communicate with Vittus, but that he came back to see what had changed, which is a great level of commitment.

I’ve been watching you since 2015 maybe even earlier- I just wanna say thank you for these beautiful uploads. They genuinely do bring me a moment of peace in the crazy world we are in.
I had a long distance relationship, im from England and my wife Norway, ive lived in Norway now for 21 years and will stay here forever, England isnt going anywhere, its always there to visit, Congratulations Adi and Vittus all the very best for the future!
Tbh your better off away from the UK at the moment. I don't know if your following the news but it's got really bad, dangerous here. I hate the UK so much I wish I could get away from here but I can't 😢

nowadays, one of the causes of mental strain is social media. It has its downsides, but it's also fascinating to acknowledge its power. Without Facebook, the guy wouldn't have met such a stranger from another country. However, it's truly wonderful to see that because of Facebook, these two remarkable souls connected and forged one of the most genuine friendships I've ever witnessed. This is how we should utilize social media - fostering positive connections, not negative ones.
We got to remember though it's not just social media. I'm a millennials (I think) and have chronic mental illness and actively s/harm and s**cide attempts and chronically suicidal. I'm registered the highest s****de risk they have in my town. It's nothing to do with social media. I've suffered hard since way before social media and it's all to do with my lifestyle, or lack of it, my abusive neglectful upbringing and alot of environmental factors, treatment from other people and services in real life not social media
This video made me so emotional, i legit teared up. Vittus is a beautiful soul, he deserves all the good in this world. It seems to me that it's expensive for him to make the trip to Nuuk though, isn't it? Isn't there a chance that we as viewers could sponsor him so he can travel back and forth more often? I imagine he will relocate to Nuuk with his fiancé now, i hope they can find a nice place in the suburbs or something where he can still feel connected with nature and she can still get that city feel from having the centre close by, but i imagine his hometown will always keep calling him and it will be easier for him when he knows that he can just go back for a weekend or so and it doesn't have to be a once in a year thing. I know that i would personally love to support this man so that he can live his life in the best way possible, he deserves it.
Outside Greenland Nuuk would be considered a small town. Only in a greenlandic mindset it feels big. I'm sure that they will find the right spot to settle in.
I feel that you can always have your home, even when you need to go. Tasilaq isn't going anywhere and it will always be home for Vitus. Maybe they can go home one day, just not now. It's beautiful that he is willing to sacrifice being somewhere he loves, but it's not going anywhere. Thank you for sharing this story. It reminded me a lot about my own personal decisions between my real home, and where life is calling me.
Just an FYI Better Help has been in some legal issues with breaking HIPAA laws. I know that everyone does it so it seems safe but it's not. Many creators don't look into the brand and just do what others do. Next time look into the company regardless if others do it.
True. I paid for a month, had to change 3 times therapists because they didnt respond often or answer any of my questions. Most of the therapists are overworked and underpaid, most of the money goes to the company not the therapists.
Yep i've heard bad things about them too. I'm from Europe where healthcare is obv better organised, so the whole concept of BetterHelp is a little wild to me anyway, like, a subscription for therapy? but i get that for Americans it can be really useful, however caution is adviced with such organisations who make money from vulnerable people
YES!! Better help is a SCAM!!! Most of these UA-camrs don’t use better help personally either. They all read a VERY similar script when these YT’ers let these people sponsor them. If anyone used better help because an influencer, or YT’er suggesting it-I would be making SURE that person knew what they were actually peddling, and then I’d ask for my money back..if they led me to use a (product) scam as a medical marketing scheme-I’d be asking for my money back,ASAP! They bank on the fact you’ll use them, because so n so did! And most of them don’t even use better help either!!!
@@slayjaeeven as an American, I still can’t get behind the “subscription for therapy”(you said it perfectly!) I can already imagine the next time you visit Vitus is going to be when he becomes a father! and it's impressive how you use your empathy to sense whenever there is something deeper going on within the person, even when they're introverted like Vitus, you figured out that he doesn't like bigger cities, which made us all relate to the sacrifice that comes with love, adding so much more depth to the story
I sort-of wonder how *everything* is done in small-town Greenland. How do people buy refrigerators? Where do they get drywall/sheetrock if they need home remodels? How do they order from Amazon?
From my experience living in a remote community (not in Greenland but Canada), you get it transported by cargo planes , or if there's a winter ice road you can drive it up in the winter time. You can order online like anyone else would, and the packages go to the closest post office and then to the hangar of the cargo planes that go to the community. But shipping for amazon to a remote community is extremely expensive.

Wow Luke, I loved seeing this. Since your last video I've also visited Tasiilaq and I saw what you saw with my own eyes. Really great storytelling. I wish you and Vituus all the best in the future 😄
Oh man, the cinematography and editing style are way too cool. Thanks for showing us Greenland, Tasiilaq, Nuuk, and Vittus's story of how his emptiness blossomed into a fulfilling life. He even has a newborn now (July 2024). Greenland has become my bucket list.

Someone be cutting onions nearby. Congratulations to Vittus and Adi's engagement: to many happy and blessed years together! I hope they can also regularly visit Tasiilaq. Vittus' development just shows: man is made for love, and without it, life becomes meaningless and unbearable.
i was so not prepared for that moment near the end of thr video.. i gasped n tapped “pause” really quickly! i’m happy for Vittus and Adi! thank you for this gem luke!
letting go... is hard but it's beautiful in the end, the video was scary at times and peaceful most of the time it touched me, love you man for documenting this story
Thank you for revisiting this town and sharing this important update. Your video serves as a testament to the power of awareness, compassion, and human connection.
Dear Luke, i experienced this beautiful story with warm tears streaming down my cheeks. Apart from the very matter of the story, i would like to mention how deeply i love your cinematic approach to these stories as though each of them deserves to be seen and heard. your choice of somber-sweet music is impeccable, and it truly adds to the overall ambiance of the video. each frame carried in it, a sense of life which the spectator experiences as his own, the shots and everything else was amazing. i am so so so happy for your friend, may you guys always be in touch and continue to be happy. last but not least, your patience, kindness and excitement move my heart. thank you for making these and bringing them to us. please never stop
I was kind of skeptical of this video because of the sponsor but I felt like this video was very genuine and with you not uploading often it probably helps a lot in making these videos
The choice of the sponsor was unfortunate. I think that was a lack of knowledge on Luke's part and not researching the company. Otherwise, I do think the video and intended message are genuine.
Thank you for posting this video especially - following up your visit from last year. The connection to Vittus and his life - and his to yours - is such a powerful story made more beautiful because it is in Iceland and continues the story you both told last year. He shows such hope and happiness - so visible when we first see Vittus again. Maybe next year or beyond when Luke visits him again it will be different - but that is life and that is what friendships are all about. Connecting, helping, sharing, and giving strength and love. This is a powerful video. Your Amazon video was also powerful and moving - all your videos are. You (Luke) bring to your filmmaking stories that somehow brings down the distances between us all. How you do this in 10 or 11 minutes of video is amazing. And thanks for disclosing you are getting therapy yourself. That is so meaningful and helpful to so many people who need to hear that help is there - for them as it was for you - and Vittus. Thank you.
Luke is just the incredible catalyst for GOOD THINGS in people's lives, no matter if they are in Iceland or any place else on the planet! Luke doesn't need therapy, he needs to TEACH therapy so other people can learn his secrets! WAY TO GO, LUKE!!! :D :D
My first day at your channel.... you are not only a youtuber ...you are a filmmaker! Very very good! Great pictures, great music slection ! Great story and sooo much good feelings! Thank you!
Are you invited to the wedding? I hope there is going to be a 3rd installment so we can see how he is doing. He seems like such a genuine, down to earth guy.
this guy is the luckiest person in the world getting a girl like that, beautiful and actually helped his mental state rather then running away yet he doesnt want too move too the tiny city of nuuk for her? where all his family already is?? it has 17k people like bro thats nothing being so dramatic, come to a real city if you think thats busy, what you gonna do just roll around in tasilaq all alone forever. You have been given extreme luck that people would dream of dont mess it up cause i imagine itll be extremely hard to find another girl in greenland with that tiny population
This was a beautiful video. Lovely bond you have with him and amazing that you were able to revisit him and also were able to document this wonderful moment in the end, that was really quite emotional. Almost like your visit and talking about her really made him realize that she is the most important. He seems really happy with him, wonderful to see.
Honestly it’s really nice to see how people change overtime and when they’re in love. One of my friends recently got a gf and I noticed they seem so much happier it makes me happy.
I am crying. This is the kind of content I want to see more. Every day happiness. Every day struggles. Every day people. I so hope we get more snippets of their milestones. Congrats xx
You're so talented man! You really know how to capture moments and emotions, and to eternalize memories. And no matter what you've been going through, everything will work out. As you became such good friends with Vittus - and that somehow had an impact in his life - I hope and pray that you can still find lots of kindhearted people in your life for you to bless each other's lives with each other's presence and love! Abraço desde o Brasil! 🫂
I remember this first video. It felt kind of dark. You could see things were depressing in that town and he looked sad. I re-watched it yesterday. So awesome seeing the glow in this mans face. Such a great thing you did by going back over there. Great Sunday morning watch. This makes me happy.
Now we need another visit in 1 year from now so we can see how they are doing!!! All the best and I hope they can find a way to still spend time in his hometown.
It can difficult for introverts to move to a big cities from a small town or village. But a man would make any sacrifice for love. I hope his wife can appreciate the sacrifice he made for her and maybe they can still visit his old town from time to time.
So so happy to see you re-visiting! The last video you made about Greenland and Vittus stayed with me, and I've thought about from time to time. I'm so glad to see he is doing well, and inspired by his love and happiness.
Such a beautiful and wholesome video overall, and it's crazy to think that it was a year ago when you first visited. Wishing a longtime happiness and a life filled with love to both Vittus and Abi ❤
Luke, of all your many adventures, I rewatched your visit to Greenland a few times. Two weeks ago I thought about sending you a message, saying hey, will you ever consider revisiting your new friend in Greenland. Logged in today and saw this vid. Very cool! I hope your friends will live happily ever after. Thanks for sharing another great adventure.
It’s great seeing you go back and revisiting him and showing how happy he is and smiling. Much respect for you man, it great to see pure genuine people in this world still exist and help spread positivity
I hope people understand alcohol consumption will constantly put you in a fluctuating state, if you’re suicidal, it’s best to just completely remove all substances that will make you have highs, because the lows just get lower. I know it’s not easy, but it’s going to help to be as sober as you can. Also, I’d really challenge anyone who is depressed and suicidal anywhere in the world to find a creative outlet, don’t look for success, but to enjoy the process of creating for yourself. Dig deep and find that passion, it is there. Don’t be so hard on yourselves, life is difficult in so many ways, please give yourself some personal love.
Thank you Luke for sharing this beautiful moment and for letting us all see how happy Vittus is now with his future wife... Maybe revisit in a few years and hopefully meet Vittus and Adi again, perhaps with a baby or two ❤

Luke your bond with Vittus is special. Feels like he is lucky to have you as his friend to know and care about his wellbeing. I like the questions you asked and confront him with. Congratulations to Vittus and Adi's engagement: to many happy and blessed years together! I hope they can also regularly visit Tasiilaq.
Vittus' development just shows: man is made for love, and without it, life becomes meaningless and unbearable.
beautifully done luke, you are an incredible storyteller
Mixed feelings - I hope Vittus wasn't rushed to propose for views & content.. He didn't even know they are going to visit his family to start with..
i was so not prepared for that moment near the end of thr video.. i gasped n tapped “pause” really quickly!
i’m happy for Vittus and Adi! thank you for this gem luke!
Seriously one of the best videos on UA-cam. Such a powerful story Luke! Great job!
letting go... is hard but it's beautiful in the end, the video was scary at times and peaceful most of the time it touched me, love you man for documenting this story
I'm so touched by you guys and my home country being shown to everyone is happiness and I'm so grateful.
Thank you for revisiting this town and sharing this important update. Your video serves as a testament to the power of awareness, compassion, and human connection.
I don’t think I’ve ever teared up at a UA-cam video before, this was so wholesome I wish them nothing but the best, they deserve it ❤️
Dear Luke, i experienced this beautiful story with warm tears streaming down my cheeks.
@@downstage6756 why are you saying it is unfortunate? just wondering
@@mori3464search better help bad reviews there’s a lot of “horror stories” with the company
Felt exploitative all the way around. Not a fan of the sponsor choice or the video
@@ashleyzeleznik5388 how did it seem exploitative?
Thank you.
this was so beautiful Luke, it has me all teary eyed... you're a great storyteller
I feel like this video just changed my life
Thank you for covering this. The people in these small towns in Greenland are so awesome. I would love to visit someday
so peaceful😍
Hi I was wondering if you could just say hi to me
@@LoadedBoys- haiiiiiii
Seeing Vittus smile like that really did made my day❤Sweetest and most heartwarming video man
Luke is just the incredible catalyst for GOOD THINGS in people's lives, no matter if they are in Iceland or any place else on the planet!
Thank you!
Your videos are always on another level. I love that you were able to keep in touch with Vittus and you were able to show another side of him ❤
11:31 that right there can make a grown man cry
Are you invited to the wedding? I hope there is going to be a 3rd installment so we can see how he is doing. He seems like such a genuine, down to earth guy.
Thank you, Luke. These stories and videos are truly impactful. This kind of content is much needed in today's social media ecosystem.
this guy is the luckiest person in the world getting a girl like that, beautiful and actually helped his mental state rather then running away yet he doesnt want too move too the tiny city of nuuk for her? where all his family already is?? it has 17k people like bro thats nothing being so dramatic, come to a real city if you think thats busy, what you gonna do just roll around in tasilaq all alone forever. You have been given extreme luck that people would dream of dont mess it up cause i imagine itll be extremely hard to find another girl in greenland with that tiny population
I cried when I watched the previous video, and now I'm smiling watching him being in love.
im so glad to see u post again, your storytelling is so unique and pure. Thank you for this, Luke
😭
This felt like watching a movie. Beautiful
Dude I'm tearing up! That ending was so special and unexpected, amazing storytelling as always 🙌🏼
It can difficult for introverts to move to a big cities from a small town or village. But a man would make any sacrifice for love. I hope his wife can appreciate the sacrifice he made for her and maybe they can still visit his old town from time to time.
Luke, you truly are a beautiful human being. Thank you for sharing such wonderful stories with us❤
i never knew i needed this.
made me smile ear to ear.
so wonderful for you to revisit the land, the people and the man
So so happy to see you re-visiting! The last video you made about Greenland and Vittus stayed with me, and I've thought about from time to time. I'm so glad to see he is doing well, and inspired by his love and happiness.
wow, this is absolutely beautiful. may these two and their love prosper :)
Thank you for a beautiful film, Luke, that perfectly relayed Vittus’s dilemma. I’m glad you went back.
It’s great seeing you go back and revisiting him and showing how happy he is and smiling. Much respect for you man, it great to see pure genuine people in this world still exist and help spread positivity
Luke, your videos are truly awesome. Really like the combination of your love for traveling combined with meeting lovely people like Vitus
What a beautiful, beautiful video
I'm so happy to see Vittus doing well
I hope people understand alcohol consumption will constantly put you in a fluctuating state, if you’re suicidal, it’s best to just completely remove all substances that will make you have highs, because the lows just get lower.
I can't miss any of your videos !!
they're masterpieces ❤️
I literally love everything you do
Such a beautiful story.😢❤
Thank you Luke for sharing this beautiful moment and for letting us all see how happy Vittus is now with his future wife... Maybe revisit in a few years and hopefully meet Vittus and Adi again, perhaps with a baby or two ❤
I cried when I saw this I’m so happy for him
this was absolutely incredible!! It always amazes me how good you are at documenting life and showcasing it in a way that makes us all feel apart of it. Thanks for creating another beautiful video!
One of the most beautiful videos I have ever watched
Luke is one of the best storytellers on UA-cam. One of the best stories I've seen. Great job man!
Wow you became the one that caused two to become a new family ❤ the world needs people like you
Thanks a million times
This is the most wholesome comment section. Rare to see these days...
'YES' men & women, no thinking req.
I'm so happy for them! I hope he is happy in Nuuk because he's with Adie. I also hope you get to see them again and let us know how they are! Love your videos! I'm a brand new subscriber! ♥️
I just love your storytelling... amazing!
Luke your bond with Vittus is special. Feels like he is lucky to have you as his friend to know and care about his wellbeing. I like the questions you asked and confront him with. Sometimes people don't realize what they are dealing with until there's someone to converse with and it doesn't seem so bad. Vittus and Adi are match made in heaven. May the Lord bless your marriage and lives together as lawfully wedded husband and wife. Tasiilaq is always there my friend. It wont run away. You can go back there anytime 😊
I don't think i've ever cried loloking at someone proposing. Here i am now. I am so happy for Vittus, and i hope they will live a peacefull and beautifull life together
i remeber seeing your first video on this, i cried to it. i may cry watching this one too.
yeah i cried.
So wonderful to see a fellow Wisconsinite make amazing videos. I wish you could make them more regularly, but you need to do you.
